I am tired of hearing how the world doesn't like the US. Of course! Everyone wants to be the big dog. How about we stop giving away free food, money, medicine, doctors, water, building infrastructures. Name one country that will go to Dafur and stop the genocide if not the USA? Name one! Freaking cowards. Talk is cheap! Kick all illegals out. Latin Americans, Europeans, Cubans. They all cost taxpayers tons of money. Put all employers in jail that get caught. Cut off welfare. Repeal the if your born in the USA your a citizen even thought both your parents are illegal. Thats how they get welfare and free services. Take back all those citizenships. Lazy congress. Get on the ball.

Why is when somebody or a group of people do anything against America it is the fault of the "other" people? When will America start to ask the question "why is it that people do not like us, why do they boo?"
I don't agree with what they did to the Miss Universe contestant from the USA, but I understand why they might have done it. Out here in the real world people are sick of American foreign policy, and the Americans sticking their nose in where it is not welcome, the fact that America is promoted within America as the 'greatest' country in the world gives the world the view that America thinks its better than anywhere and anybody elese. The fact that most Americans are ignorant to the situations in the rest of the world, or even where some countries are. Then there is the overwelming support of the American people for a joke president who is admired only inside the USA, and nowhere else.
It is sad that Miss America had to cop all the boos for her countries policies - she did not deserve that. It is true many Americans do mean well and are not ignorant but this is not what is presented to the rest of the world. It was not an attack on you personally - just your governments policies. America isn't really highly regarded in the world, and I know this from speaking with people from more than 40 nations. I don't mean to sound harsh but I think maybe you need to hear a foreigners view and you need to ask yourself some hard questions about who you are voting into power.
PS: Punishing the illegals for what their countrymen did, is just like them punishing Miss USA for what her country does.

And to Rebecca: So you think America sticks its nose where it doesn't belong huh? Ok , then we should stop all economic help to other countries,stop with food aid,stop with disaster relief, stop housing developement,stop medical assistance programs, stop all foreign aid of any kind. Just remember what you aid when you die starving with dieases. Oh I forgot, it's ok when we do what helps you. Maybe the 3rd world countries or the U.N. will help you out. Oh sorry, without the U.S. there would be no U.N. because they wouldn't have the finances. Being jealous of what the U.S. has is an ugly thing.

I think it started a while ago and it has nothing to do with the fact that a beauty queen got booed. Most Americans are strongly against amnesty and are really pissed at our government!

The problem is we already know - they boo us because some among us dare to demand that the laws are enforced. When a people are so antagonistic to law and order, to be honest their opinions are worthless and shouldn't really matter.
I agree with another poster - no more aid to Mexico or her citizens. Let them languish in their ignorance and hatred of America, instead of benefiting from it.
