A question about immigration to U.S. please help.?
im from iran, my brother is an american citizen.
he applied an application for my green card to us, in 1999.
now we checked our status , they aproved our application in 2005,
this is my question, they approved our app, when we should go after our visa?
and another question, i have a 25yrs old doughter and 21 years old son, when my brother applied the application
both of them were under 21 yrs old...that would be a problem or not?
thanks,
hamid.
Answer:
You need to check the monthly visa bulletin. Your status is priority 4. Right now visas are being issued to applicants submitted the week of June 8, 1996. You've got another 3 years to wait.

Your children have aged out of the petition. I've heard the law might be changed to include adult children who were minors at the time the application was made since waits are so long.
I don't know the answer Hamid...but here is the place to find answers:

Good Luck!
With all the laws and regulations to obtain a green card, you won't find an answer here. Talk to a lawyer.
