Why not Let All Americans decide vote on it ?
next Naional Election , let all Americans vote on it. No More on
this backroom secret deals.
Answer:
There is no such mechanism in place for a National Referrendum
I agree with you, I'm just saying we would need to amend the Constitution in order to do it.
Oh but please remember that your hero, mr. bush, is the self-appointed "decider."
.
i agree, the people need to decide if they want all of these imigrants here,it should not just be up to congress
I agree, let us vote on abortion and prayer in school. The losers then shut up. Its time the majoity speaks.
Great point! Don't think they would be at the polls with their flag!
I think that sounds very good in theory but not very practical.Any bill would have to include a broad range of border security as well as a plan to deal with the current illegal situation and future enforcement too many details to educate the public on and have one vote on.But I guess if you simplified the most important components of the bill and let the politicians hash out the fine print it might work.
Not a bad idea.
Completely agree. I've been faxing Sen. Specter (my so-called "representative") about this for the past couple weeks.
I do not trust those who say they are working for the taxpaying American citizens with this issue, since it is clear they have their eyes on potential votes from millions of people who have committed the federal offense of sneaking into this country.
The only problem with this is how do we know who is voting?
Give the Mexicans a break, we need them to work for substandard wages that they are willing to do. If we keep ruffing them up the Democrats will win easily. I watched the news yesterday and the Mexican/American mayor of LA was endorsing Hillary Clinton publicly. I don't like problems, and this is a biggy.
We don't need to. All the laws we need are already in place, the only thing missing is enforcement. That is the job of the executive branch, headed by the President.
I voted for Bush twice, but he is a complete failure on border security. Not that he is alone, none of our presidents for the last 50 years have enforced our border laws.
Because the majority of Americans will vote 'Deport illegals, secure border, enforce laws, no amnesty'
And of course big business, corporations, Bush and the Dems want the illegals to stay.
So while it's a good idea, they won't be able to vote on it as were entitled to.
