The US government can be difficult to deal with in a situation like this.
I know of a hardworker without a criminal record to his name who was simply applying for a tourist visa from another country and HE was denied without a reason.
I think its ok just like the guy said as long as its not a felony. But if you have warrants for not paying traffic tickets and stuff make sur e you pay those off, you have enough money to buy your citizenship, pay your fines, i need to follow my own advice too buddy.
