Get some documentation that would allow you to live here. You can't just move here and be legal, just like that. It doesn't work that way.
Pray, the US is a very difficult place to get into. You just can't move. You have to have money lying dormant in your bank account plus a job offer. You also need a green card and that can take a couple of years to come through.
I married a Texan and yes I am British. It was much easier to get him over here than for me to move there.
I just don't have $250,000 lying dormant in my bank account and if I did the US would be the last place I would be moving too.
