Because it's a crime to hire illegals...good enough? If you want to break the law, go ahead...face the consequences.

The more you hire them, the more they will come. The cost to the US Tax payer of illegal immigrants is now (conservatively) over $40 billion a year.

It's because...what's the word I'm thinking of...wait, I'll think of it in a minute...oh yeah. Because it's ILLEGAL. The economic implications aside, it doesnt matter who you side with, whether you love them or hate them, or if you have some justification for it. IT IS FREAKING ILLEGAL.
Illegal alien labor is super cheap labor that competes with honest labor. If a company has a choice between paying an honest American $15 an hour or paying an illegal alien $5 an hour, it makes it harder for an honest American to get a job. It also decreases the salaries of honest Americans because they are competing with illegal aliens who are willing to work for slave wages.
Also, illegal aliens do not pay federal taxes, which means they are enjoying the USA without paying their fair share.

Yeah criminals will do anything for money, great argument. I don't thing capitalism includes lawlessness.
It's this kind of thinking that illegal immigration brings to the US.
Those illegal workers won't be so cheap when you get caught and fined so heavily that you lose your business altogether.
Where to even start?
First off, they are not all "hard working and determined people". I worked with a bunch that picked and chose what work they would do.
Second, "they work real cheap" which drives down the wages that citizens are going to earn.
Third, we have no idea what their background is. Having known some that were felons back here with a new name, you don't know what you are even hiring ( may one wreak havoc on your family with illegal activity, then you might understand).
Fourth, it is ILLEGAL to come here illegally, which is why they are called ILLEGAL ALIENS. Those who come here legally are LEGAL aliens. So, right off the bat you are thinking "hire criminals, great business move". You want to reward them for breaking their first law the second they set a paw in this country without permission.
Fifth, we are supporting plenty of them as it is. While "Jose" is working, with a fake name on his fake papers, "Josephina" is collecting welfare on their kids, because the man who fathered them and lives there, has fake ID which "proves" those kids aren't his, when it was him who fathered them. If they play it really smart, he doesn't actually live with them, he shares a small place with half a dozen other guys, and just goes to see wifey and make more babies, to get more welfare.
We have more illegals than we need. They stand in groups in cities and wait for "day labor" jobs to come along, soaking the system and working under the radar.
You really want to hire people when you don't know what their background is other than they broke a law just coming here? Who knows what other laws they broke? Are they murderers? Child molestors? You will never know, because they can change fake ID at the drop of a hat.
Are you even American? At all? You encourage breaking American laws, and want to break one yourself by hiring people you know are here illegally? Hope they find out, and fine you big time. When they sweep the company and you have no manual labor because they are being detained, you better be prepared to actually work.

Don't you know anyone born here that works? I am sure I see thousands of citizens going to work daily. Surely you can find a non law breaker to hire.

I will first go by saying that it takes away jobs that the American people need very much so. Oh yeah, and it is illegal within itself to hire illegals. Also, from what I have seen, they have a "rep" for being good workers but when you get down to it, they are p!ss poor. They make the woman do all the work(if that even), come to work drunk and late. Also, husbands and wives come up here and do not let the WIC and Foodstamp offices know that they are married. Then with all the kids in the family, the mother jumps on the bandwagon for the freebies. So ultimately they are not cheap labor. It comes out of our taxes. In fact, WIC recieved over 5 billion, yes 5 billion in grants and I won't even begin with the foodstamp program. Being a STRONG Republican, I have to say I am VERY disappointed in what President Bush has done with this problem. So, it is true when you say that illegals will do ANYTHING for money. Just read the statistics.
Holy crap do you not get it? It's not us American's fault that we have bills to pay and mouths to feed. Do you realize the full impact on hiring illegals besides the fact that it's illegal? First of all they are not paying taxes. They have no interest in making anything better except for their wallets and their relatives back in Mexico's pockets. They use the argument of their kids in our schools. How much of a disruption is it to have kids in a classroom that do not understand English not to mention what happens when they are found and sent back. I have a serious problem with this mentality. We are all trying to make it in this world and I know people who are unemployed that can't find work. I think people will do any job if it paid the bills. If they don't like the job they need to have the drive to do something else. How about the american girls that they get pregnant and take off for their homeland. This puts a strain on our welfare system. Those of us who have them as neighbors know what a "joy" they are to have. Seriously if they were any sort of hard-working and honest person then they'd be doing it the legal way.

cheap labor for you, increased strain on our already delicate social service structure as well as our schools and hospitals. when one of your illegal workers gets hurt on the job are you and your father going to pick up the hospital tab? are you going to pay to send his children to private schools so as not to burden your neighbors with cost of educating them? also, why do you support slave labor which is what the hiring of cheap illegal labor is.

Hiring an illegal alien is a crime. Illegal aliens are KILLING our country, not helping it. If they are so hard working, why do so many end up on welfare? Also, why not work to improve their own country? Hopefully the border will be closed soon, and you, your father, and your illegal employees will be shipped home.
Illegal aliens take much more from our society and economy than they provide. We survived and thrived before they came here, and we can and will do it again once they are gone.
I LOVE my immigrant friends, but they obey the law and contribute to society, pay taxes, don't litter or cause traffic accidents, they have health insurance, they pay for their children to go to school, and by no means would they ever go on welfare...unlike the illegal scum that you seem to think help the economy.
