What does illegal immigration have to do with the Ms. Universe pageant?
This illegal immigration bull has really gotten out of control, now Mexicans in Mexico have something to say about it, why?
We can't go to their country anytime we want unless we want to end up in some jail raped and beaten. They have laws and other people respect them, why can't they respect ours.
And instead of being angry with the United States for having laws and actually expecting people to follow those laws, they need to be worried about improving their own country.
All of those idiots booing poor Ms. USA obviously aren't the poorest group in Mexico or they wouldnt have been at the pageant, instead of blaming the USA they should blame themselves, maybe they should use their money to improve MEXICO

I completely agree with u there. How sad huh. They are let into our country daily, and basically givin a life to live and babied by our government, and yet Miss USA can't even be safe there for a pagent. See so it does show who the better country is. Sure in the heck isn't them. All i know is I will never go there, for the same reasons you stated. I don't feel like being raped, arrested and beaten.
What do you expect from a THIRD world Nation who's people are not properly educated or have any common sense??

I do agree with you.it was not necessary for SOME not all in the audience to booo Miss U.S.A. last night. I understand why they did it.but I definitely don't condone it. They basically saw Miss U.S.A as a representation of the politics with regards to the immigration controversy in the U.S.
Let's not be ignorant Americans, really open your eyes and see some of the facts about this issue...
1. It is particularly the Mexican immigrants that are receiving all the backlash for the rest of the immigrants which include the large Irish, Polish, Asian populations.
2. Get serious now..who the hell is gonna be out there at the desert actually building up the wall? Will the African Americans do it? The Caucasions? Give me a break, it will be the immigrants building it and this will ultimately make the U.S. look super rediculous around the world.
3. You are absolutely right in saying that Mexico's government needs to get their own act together and create more jobs so that its locals will stop leaving their families to work in the U.S.
4. We need to really be creative and work out a fair solution for these immigrants who are the only race of people willing to work BELOW minimum wage with NO HEALTH INSURANCE cleaning our facilities, watching our politicians' children, and slaving in the fields hand picking the very fruits and vegetables on our very table.
5. And finally some of you people on MyTend.com need to stop demonstrating and attracting your ignorance to other idiots who know not a thing on the subject and stop stating that Americans need to stop subsidizing illegal immigrants when it is indeed we are all ready subsidizing the largest ethnic group in our welfare system.the lower-class whites.
You know, it pissed me off when they booed her, but I have enough sense to take it who it's from (people who have nothing better to offer, I mean come on, it's a beauty pageant!) and not let it bother me. I have more important things to be pissed about.

It was a very rude thing to do. They seem to have the inability to direct their issues to the correct people. Just easier to blame a country or just "white" people in general for what they don't like, even though who they take it out on has nothing to do with their situation. As long as they can blame everyone else they never have to look at themselves.
All I can really say is that it shows class; the Hispanic community obviously has little class and etiquette to turn a PAGEANT into something politically whereas Miss USA doesn't have anything to do with immigration policies!
Look at it this way:
The Mexicans say the southwest & California belonged to them (true)
The Americans say "You lost the war, tough sh!t" (also true)
Now..USA defeated Britain in a war to become independent --- yet.... Britain is part of the Visa Waiver Program (i.e. - they don't need to request permission to come in), and Mexico is NOT.
And let's not even discuss NAFTA...

USA has nothing to do with immigrations. i saw the news reports on her falling this morning, one news reporter said, i don't understand it, who is mexico booing? are they booing her because she fell? the other reporter said, no, they are booing the USA. they looked very pissed off about it. let mexico hang their self's with the Americans. they are slowly turning people who supported them against them. Some people forget that the winner of the Ms. Universe pageant is suppose to travel the world speaking about issues of international concern. Apparently Mexico believes that the U.S. (the nation hosting the Ms. Universe pageant) should have an open door policy when it comes to Mexican citizens. (According to a 2002 Zogby International poll 57% of Mexicans believe they should have the right to enter the U.S. without U.S. permission.) This could stem from an attitude recorded by the same 2002 Zogby poll showing that 58% of Mexicans believe that the territory of the United States' southwest rightfully belongs to Mexico. Add to that the fact that National Development Plan the Mexican Government says they want to support the 18 million Mexicans who live outside Mexico. Based on the reported number by the Mexican government of their citizens legally living outside of Mexico at the time, this statements would include those living outside of Mexico illegally, leading many people to believe that the Mexican government supports the emigration of it's citizens. (Yet Mexico is not very hospitable to Illegal aliens found in their country.)
Why would Mexican use the pageant as a political tool? Because they can! Because if they won the pageant and their spokes woman were to speak out publicly saying that people who break the law should be permitted to do so, too many questions would be asked and people would start to realize the truth, that the Mexican Government is trying to export their poor to the U.S. and Canada. If they lost the pageant, then Illegal immigration would never make the headlines. This way, through the protest, they can make a statement with the fear of follow up questions.
In other words, because they are being sneaky.
about my question with the asian grandmother thing you're right not ALL of them but a lot of them that i see walk around with black umbrella's in the summer heat.
