If you read the article, you find out that the perp had 21 wounds. Now, maybe I’m wrong, but that means only one in four shots hit the perp at all, right? 85 rounds expended and only 21 hit the target?
Common sense tells me though that 85 rounds 7 officers and 21 bullet wounds including exit wounds points to at least very very poor marksmanship, i.e. training, i.e. professionalism. If this was a shoot out where the suspect was firing on the officers from cover it would make more sense but if he was out in the open within 30 yards I still maintain that these guys are need more range time when it comes to using thier guns.
Although police said the street was empty when the confrontation began shortly after 6 p.m., neighbors disputed their account. They said it was crowded with people, including children playing in the street.

if there were really kids playing in the street during a stand off then those kids parents should have their kids taken forever and should be jailed and sterilized.
to let kids play around where cops are out with guns drawn is inexcusable.

Well either that, or cut loose about 10 K-9's on the suspect,,people always b1tch about things after the fact,,,,not saying that every police action is flawless, but you have to be right there and in their shoes, and that is something people don't understand or want to,,,,,,,,next,,,
