In a densely populated country, should the govt only allow as many in, as leave every year?

Didn't you know more people leave every year than come in that's why we have so much room, besides we need them to assist in our booming economy as we cannot manage without their skills.Well that's what the Government tells us and they always tell the truth don't they?Don't they? and I always thought they did.
Do you really want the government to have that much control over our lives? We put governments in place to enforce laws. Giving the government that kind of control would be catastrophic. You get into the argument of "what is considered densely populated?" and you dont want the government deciding things like that.

Your talking about an immigration quota around 300,000 for the United States. Right now the quota is around a million. ( The quota does not include illegals.
I say, stop the immigration for a good ten years and let our country take care of its own people for a while. We have enough poor, repressed and homeless people of our own that we don't need to be sending our money to other countries to support them or taking in their offcasts.
Sounds good to me...first of all you have to know how many people are coming in, but if the door is open you cant make an accurate calculation.

Population growth is not just dependent on immigration and emmigration (that is people entering and leaving the country for those who have problems with long words).
It is also dependent on birth and death rates.
Remember that the UK NHS is dependent on foreign workers. The NHS benefits from immigration with skilled doctors coming over here to teach others as well as provide essential medical services.
(i.e. stop immigration and the population will become less populated as the death rates shoot up.)
