So, It's perfectly okay for illegals to have reduced tuition at in-state universities..?

...to enjoy education, health care and all the rest during their tenure as illegal aliens -- but once they're given citizenship, they owe the United States nothing?

What a bad mistake -- not only in terms of equity, but also politically, for The White House.

Answer:
This is just getting out of hand with the illegals in this country.

These people may just want a better life and that I can understand. But so did my great-grandparents. And they came here from Poland and Germany...legally through Ellis Island and off the PA to go work in the mines. No hand-out there.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to become a naturalized US citizen. But if you are here the 'ILLEGAL' way...that's where my understanding ends.

Until the point where they become naturalized citizens...there are NO rights, whatsoever, entitled to them by the US Constitution. They are NOT entitle to reduced tuition, educations, health care...etc., etc.

At what point are the people of this Wonderful Country going to stop believing in the crooked politicians and DEMAND that the Rights of this country are finally returned to the people that it was original written for..US CITIZENS.

Sorry Whootz...went on a bit of a tangent...but I'm just SOOOO sick of illegals who demand things that they have ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to.
No, in my personal opinion, it is not OK. They are here ILLEGALLY. They are not legal residents. Therefore they should not get the benefits of a legal resident.
Welcome to the Bush Administration.
Would I qualify for reduced (in state) tuition if I moved "illegally" from Pennsylvania to Massachusetts? Why not? I am a native-born US citizen. What is the difference between somebody born in Mexico receiving in state tuition and somebody born in Pennsylvania or New Jersey receiving in-state tuition?

Aren't I entitled to equal protection of the laws? Isn't equal protection of the laws part of our concept of government?
