Immigrants get more help why ?
i heard a while back that immigrants got alot of help ie mobile phone money to by a car place to live and so on, from the gov, which i thought was rubish
but to my horror this i found to be true
ok you say how do you know
well example im an immigrant say
my car breaks down i have a contact to get intouch with who then tell me where to take the car to be repaired and the bill will be payed hey presto (from the horses mouth)
is it me or are we haveing the piss taken out of us
i find it very unfair
we all find it hard to live in the uk because of the cost of living
and to get help well thats just not there unless you know what
i honestly see the country falling apart with everything thats going on
its just getting so bad no wonder them that can afford it leave this country (god i wish i could)
any one shed any more light on this

i.e - building new houses for young people like ourselves - ENGLISH people.
and raising the age of leaving school to 18.
Most of my friends left at 15, and they were far too immature ..
so I think, that if young people leave school later, they're more mature. or whatever.

But some - and alot, and I mean ALOT, and just lazy. They come to England for the easy way out. Because they know we're soft.
It's not like living in their countries, where they saw off heads, and get 5p a day.

Have you ever noticed section 8 housing? Some of those blacks/whites/other races have nicer cellphones and cars then i do .. and i work my @$$ off everyday ... 40+ hours a week.

In some circumstances we assist immigrants with their primary needs, nothing more, nothing less. This is a wealthy country that can and should assist people in this way for no other reason than it is the right thing to do.

There is a difference between immigrants and asylum seekers:
Immigrants, who enter this country for work, etc (except European Union citizens) have to prove that they have the means of self-support (both financial, residential, etc) before they are granted a Work Permit or Entry Visa.
Asylum seekers are provided with a small financial payment (less than a week's Jobseekers Allowance or Incapicity Benefit) and there is a responsibility on local authorities to find them accommodation.
There are cases where charities or voluntary groups (not the Government) may give them grants for other things, such as clothes, etc., but I stress that this is not Government money.
I think its nicer there free car repair.
I think the poor are getting the help here. You confuse that with "illegal."
I'm sorry, I could brag about getting a thousand pounds a week for doing nothing, but that wouldn't make it true. The government definitely does NOT pay for people's cars to be repaired. Maybe the individual had some sort of lease car - perhaps even a Motability car - but he would get it on exactly the same terms as a UK citizen.
If you have some definite information about this case, find out more for us, like who pays for the car/repairs and what is the status of the immigrant, so we can get to the bottom of it.
ive no idea why but i know its true when i went to my GP last year I was told id have to pay for the treatment i needed yet they had a poster in the waiting room advertising it free to members of a certain ethnic group that doesnt originate from the British isles. And the worst bit is I picked up this said health condition in service of this country
There are some immaigrants (a small percentage) who are useful to society, ie. Doctors, nurses, teachers, military etc and generally come here to better themselves. That is fine and I have no problem with that. The rest tend to come here for an easy life. And if you are talking about asylum seekers who get even MORE help than immigrants, then you are right. They can say they are persecuted in their own country and have come here for asulum, even though they have often passed through at least half a dozen countries to reach here. The reason is not asylum, they just know they will get everything you said for free and much more.
Yet like you said, those of us who were born and raised here are finding it increasingly diffficult even to survive. I'm an ex soldier and now I'm training to be a nurse. I think I have essential skills for any country, yet as a student nurse I am paid much much less than the minimum wage and struggle to pay the bills, there are no jobs when I do graduate unless I go abroad and I am resigned to the fact I will never own a home in my own country now. Yet these ******** get one for free. I'm getting the hell out of here, it makes me sick.
Last time I checked .. no one (immigrant or otherwise) needs to be homeless in the UK (including you).
Certain Govt organisations Will give out grants for tools or even an older model car/van to get Long Term Unemployed back into employment. Jobcentres can do this. Oh! and people like you can apply as well !

when ever you try to confirm these types of storeys you can never find just who the horse is who was meant to have done it, if you really can prove this to be the case why don't you go to the papers, mind you they wont touch it coz they have printed such storeys they then had to retract coz they where found to be un-true

I used to know a asylum seeker from afganistan he didnt get any help at all, they refused his case and hes gone back to(god knows where). So its not the same for everyone. Some of them get treated very badly
