Should current immigration laws be enforced?
Answer:
They were planning on a 2.6 trillion dollar budget on the last piece of crap reform bill they were trying to ram thru.if they enforced the laws using some of that same budget money, we would be fine. So yes, enforce the current laws and at the same time build that fence. in fact, I would strengthen the current law about penalizing business's that hire Illegals. If they have no reason to be here, then they will go home on their own...most of them will anyway... the rest ICE can mop up..
Yes! Enforce our current laws, and if money is an issue, then reapportion money form NASA to the ICE.
We do need reform to close the gaps. Anchor babies, more power to border agents and local governments. Take the amnesty clause out of that last bill and we would have some of those things.
jimmy...whats the "amnesty clause"...what does it consist of?
It's time to finally set our foot down. Time to enforce the laws. American citizens are required to uphold the law, we pay fines and go to jail whenever we break the law why should illegals live here so comfy under the radar?
YES!!!
We can spend the next 5 years or so enforceing our immigration policies and deporting the violators, or we can spend the rest of our lives wishing we had done something to save our country.
should they?
well that's up for debate
will they ?
no
don't be so delusional John
Absolutely!! If we give it a try it MIGHT just actually work !!
yes but with some small changes the main one being that if you hire a messican "pickadefruit" you will "feeladeboot" as we kick you and the messican back to messico
Sure. Come and kick me out. Let's see what happens.
Yes, enforce the laws. They were put there to protect us, but have never been enforced. If they had been we would not be where we are today with illegal immigration.
Yes...our immigration laws should be enforced...
Yes, It's time to stop this double standard, laws must be enforced on illegals just as they are on U.S. citizens.
Hell yes the immigration laws should be enforced, I can't believe we are letting these illegal immigrants suck us dry like this. Round them up and send them back to Mexico now! God why is this so hard?
politics...politics... i think that makes it so difficult to enforce the law. Maybe due to the volume of illegals in the USA, its gonna take a heavy toll on the budget. I don't live in the US - I thought this country is just such a "dreamland" for struggling third world people.
Yes, and they should have been enforced all along. The problem wouldn't nearly be as bad.
Secure the border with a real, well-lit fence with patrols with rapid-response capability and support.
Give them 30 days to leave peaceably.
Warn all employers they will go to jail for a minimum of 24 months, in addition to a huge fine if they hire illegals.
Cut off all benefits and aid...warn social service workers that their jobs will be jeopardized if they grant aid to an illegal. Require schools to verify citizenship or legal status.
Enforce the laws related to harboring illegals.
At the end of the 30 days, massive efforts to locate, detain and deport. Add all to the DNA and fingerprint data-bases.
No chance to ever be legal if you do not leave in the 30 days.
