This is even more reason to vote every one of those useless morons out of office. The existing laws are unenforcable because Congress refuses to enforce them. They've been catering to big business for so long they've convinced themselves that the only way to fix the system is to grant amnesty and promise a new improved system. They're all nothing but liars, crooks and perverts.

No, the government cannot put 12 million people in jail for not paying taxes or for being in the country illegally. Did you actually hear what Kennedy said in its full context or did you hear Rush Limbaugh or FOX News tell you what to think about this?

Teddy says alot of things when he is pie-eyed...he helped put that piece of junk legislation up to a vote to begin with...so how can you take him seriously anyways?
no one wants to stop the illegals in gov't. dems want amnesty and its 12,000,000 new democratic voters. reps want the people willing to work for low wages to help the farm and construction industries stay profitable.

Normally I wouldn't wish death on anyone but he is the exception. I will celebrate his passing into hell. Kennedy has been involved in every failure of a bill dealing with illegals. His solution has always been to surrender to them.
Not him, but I heard as much from Arlen Specter in one of his email responses to me. And, of course, our dear Idiot King said as much when he introduced this brokered failure.
Unfortunately Teddy was just voted in and has more than six years left if he makes it that long and the liberals in my state would vote him in again if he ran.

Wow! I agree with you totally on this. Yes, you are right - if 12 million didn't pay their taxes, those 12 million WOULD definitely be located and held liable for their tax debt. Yes, 12 million illegals CAN be found if ALL the immigration and other laws of our country were strictly and consistently enforced. If the illegals could NOT have access to welfare, schools, medical care, etc., and if employers were strictly disciplined for hiring illegals, and if police were able to inquire about legal status when they encounter them, YES, they would be found and many of them would head for home on their own, without our even having to deport them. As well, as word spread that freebies were no longer available in the US to illegal immigrants, future illegals would not even bother coming.
Well then let's just ask TED "the swimmer" KENNEDY where all of the $ went, that was approved and SLOTTED to beef up the border, and build a fence, went to ? why don't we just go after the employers like they do with the P.P. test for drugs ? That certainly Violates my constitutional rights by just me agreeing to sign a piece of paper in an employers office, and I can BY-PASS the most powerful document ever written in U.S. History. Why don't we PENALIZE the EMPLOYER who hires illegal immigrants, NO medical, dental or welfare to anyone that is not a U.S. Citizen, there is a movement to take over this country by the third world, I SAY THERE SHOULD BE A MOVEMENT TO TAKE IT BACK ! Now do you see why it is so important for the rights of American citizens TO BEAR ARMS ! It was put in the constitution by our SMART forefather's for JUST SUCH AN EMERGENCY !
I can't speak for everyone, but in my line of work we must finish a job that we start. Why is it that Ted (pour me another one) Kennedy and the rest of those worthless pos in congress are not forced to resolve this problem? After all it is their problem. 98% of them have held office and overlooked the laws that they have made and are supposed to enforce. I think your idea of not paying taxes should be applied on a massive scale. Like everyone refusing to pay taxes until they solve the immigration problem.
