How will Rush Limbaugh fans react to the new report by real scientists that Global Warming is real...?
So my question is, will Rush's fans finally have to admit that Rush has been lying to them for all these years?

any fan of Rush will be completely incapable of hearing or comprehending anything that is the truth. for example, Rush frequently condemns drug addicts and alcoholics on his program, and yet, he is one. once exposed as an Oxycontin addict that falsified prescriptions and went to numerous doctors at once to obtain separate prescriptions for the drugs, knowing full well that one regular doctor would be bound by ethics to stop prescribing it to him, NONE of his "loyal listeners" stopped listening or even questioned any of his behavior. he lied to them about himself, and they didn't want to believe it then - why should they believe he is lying now?
So? You still listen to the radio, get a freggin' ipod!

they will never admit to being wrong... period. its called cognative dissonance. tell them the sky is blue, they'll say its green, tell them the earth is round, they'll say flat, tell them our current president is a no good lying scoundral and they'll say he is the smartest, bestest, most wonderfullest president in history... they never admit the truth. god forbid they actually think about an issue. i just hope like the blind herd that they are, rush jumps off a cliff and all his misinformed idiot tribe follow suite and jump too.
For every scientist that say it's man made there is one that says it is not. It's hard to believe those that say it is man made when, they're competing for study grants, makes them a little bias don't you think...
Continued denial. Then, in a couple years when they realize that saving a couple bucks now will be far more costly in the long run, they'll start claiming that they were the ones clamoring for change all along. Kinda like the way his peeps handled the AIDS crisis initially, then suddenly started caring about human life when it stopped being just a "gay" disease.
And for all the "it's part of the earth's natural cycles" folks- because climate change is inevitable is not an excuse for hurrying it along!
I think Rush and his fans will be fine. Don't worry about them.
He will just deny it, claiming that the results are politically motivated or blown out of proportion to the actual danger presented.
Rush Limbaugh fans will admit nothing until their fearless leader Rush himself admits he was wrong about this issue. And lets face it, Rush will NEVER admit he was wrong.
What you have is a correlation with no supporting facts.
Everyone knows the globe is warming. The question is what is causing it. You will note that they still only say it is 'likely' being impacted by human causes, and one thing it says is that reduction of air pollution has accelerated warming due to decrease in 'shade'.
Rush is irrelevant. The question is how much of this is science? I'm happy to reduce greenhouse gasses in any event, but how draconian you get with those regulations turns on what level of credance you give to the worst scaremongers. You will notice that the same report discounts some of the prior worst case scenarios, as well.
Real scientists eh?? Was it the same real scientists that say global warming is caused by the warming of the sun? That was an answer given in yesterday's global warming question. I guess tomorrow's question will have more real facts from more real scientist.
There is no doubt about one thing. Any scientist, maybe even a fake one, can show data, chemistry and formulas that can show the burning of fossil fuels will create a greenhouse effect. The problem with all these studies is that they never consider all the "buffering" capability of the earth and its atmosphere.
I also know that scientists have been crying wolf about global warming for many years. The predictions they made back when never came to pass. Maybe one day the wolf will show up.... who really knows for sure?
How do you react to the fact than numerous accredited scientists in the field disagree that the current global warming has any signifcant human factor? (I don't know why you attack Rush - he's as much a scientist as Al Gore is.)
But I find it interesting that the global warming scare-mongerers dismiss so many scientists who disagree with them. Here are some quotes:

They won't admit to anything else he's lied about. I don't see why global warming would be any different.
eLet's see if global warming is man made than please explain the inconveniant truth that the planet has had many ice ages in it's history and that in order to reverse the advances of glaciation tempuratures would have had to increase. This would have occured without any help from industrial activity from man. Am I suposed to belive that Fred Flintstone driving his Chevy Tahoe was to blame or is it more likely that changes in tempuratures occure naturaly. Global warming as portrayed by the left is just another case of thier unwillingness to use science that opposes thier agendas
Rush doesn't claim there is no environmental change he is saying
to think Man has any control over it is crazy. We cannot stop it or cause it. One volcanic eruption polluted the atmosphere more than we have in our entire existence. This so called global warming trend is a normal occurrence and has happened and will happen regardless of what we do.
Tell me this Kyoto treaty do you realize you can still pollute but you have to buy credits from some other country which has not exceeded their allotment,(even though they have polluted more than you, they get more credits). This is nothing more than wealth redistribution. Russia and China pollute the Earth with far more pollution then North America, but the Environmentalist do not say a world. I don't know about you, I would rather America keep its money instead of giving it to third world countries that pollute their own drinking water, farming land.
