I`m Mexican and had my son in USA...all you have to do is get his American passport and birth certificate...then go to the embassy of your country in the us and apply for your child`s birth certificate..when you go back to your country all you have to do is validate the certificate at your vital record office...and your son will have dual citizenship like mine!

This is a ploy that illegals are using right now to stay in the U.S. I think this law needs to be changed because the parents will drain our governments social programs and keep draining them until the child turns 18. It happens all the time and U.S. citizens are paying for it with our tax dollars.
