I've heard about parts of it and it's a piece of crap! It's total amnesty and will cost us an estimated $2.5 TRILLION. In addition the fines are only for those that CHOOSE to become citizens. If they are just legal residents, there is no fine. There is also no way set up to collect the fines.
Since they have already PROMISED is a 750 mile, and only built 2 miles, how can we believe that any of the border security measure will happen.
They talk about things like checking potential employees but these things are already the law. When they do background checks, they have one day to do it. If they can't complete the check in one day, they have to approve the person.
The bill is garbage. They should enforce our current laws before mucking things up with new things that will never work!

Didn't you love the 'enforcement except for humanitarian reasons' which are presumably something less than the 'extreme hardship' exceptions currently in the law?

yes i think good when they come in to the country in 8 years they would have to pay a fine of 5000

Immigration will never be "reformed" as long as politicans need campaign funds...those who run huge farms and need cheap labor will always make sure loop holes exist...the crooks in Washington will never provide a viable answer to this problem.
