How many immigrants a year is enough for you?
Obviously more people wish to immigrate then we have room for. Yet many people believe we should somehow find a way to "EXPEDITE" the immigration process so that we won't have so many illegals.
So if you believe in open borders do you feel that current Americans should just accept that our standard of living should be lower so that we can accomidate more immigration. Or do you have a viable solution to the problems that record immigration fosters on this coutries citizens?

The biggest MRE manufacturer in the US, based in Texas was working on a $94 MILLION dollar government no-bid contract! Think they would hire Americans at a decent wage? No, they hired illegals and doctored their paper work! They were discovered by accident by the FBI! Now they employee no one!
When the immigration law is enforced, we have no problem, as the government has set quota's for each nation. It's these damn illegal immigrants and the government parasites that turn their backs on them that is the problem.
As far as the increased cost of electric, fuel, ect that you mention, immigration is not the cause, the main cause of all fuel is the enormous waste of fuel on the Iraq war, and the greed of the fuel companies.
WE worry about how many miles per gallon we get, but some of these military vehicles rate it in gallons per mile, so you figure it out. Where is the shortage and who caused it, and if there is a shortage, how come no fuel stations are closed due to lack of supplies?

Legally what the law will allow.. illegally should never make it over the boarder in one piece..
We need a moratorium on legal immigration and once we end that we should return to pre-1965 levels of 200,000 legal immigrants a year. Zero illegal immigrants.
I don't believe anyone has a problem with "expediting" the process for legal immigrants.
But there IS no "process" to expedite for illegal aliens. They are here illegally, and they are in no PROCESS to begin with.
Deport the illegal aliens and send them to the back of the line BEHIND all legal immigrants currently "in the process"...they have no right to cut in front of those "in the process" now.
I do agree they will continue coming.until the REASON they are coming is removed. Prosecute employers to the fullest extent of the law. Hiring illegal aliens is a CRIME.
If there is no employment available for illegal aliens-as should be, there is no reason for illegal aliens to come.
I would like to see 3 a year. Somebody needs to cut my grass, make my tacos and clean my hotel room.
