Why is there ANY LEGISLATION on illegals when everyone already KNOWS that it wont be enforced to begin with?

I've been wondering about that too. They will likely get all the benefits of this amnesty while we get no enforcement of the laws. They might even find a way to get waivers for the fine. While I am against this plan, I wouldn't mind it so much if I believed all of it would be strictly enforced. It is more NAU BS.
They just feel the need to sell it to the American public.I guess some are dumb enough to beLIEve it.
Elections and votes. They have to at least look like they're doing something about the situation. Its sad, because this newest bill is going to make things worse than it is now, in my opinion. Its too complicated, it'll just muddy the waters.
Its simply something to reassure the public with. Illegals should simply be shot when trying to cross the border, and thrown back into their home countries when caught after crossing over.
If American people would understand that this is quite simply a fifth column in this country, or better yet, an invasion force, then the problem would be solved.
I know plenty of folks in OK, CO, and Texas that would be glad to wipe out invaders in their communities.
Note that this does not apply to LEGITIMATE American Citizens, regardless of nationality. There are no Mexicans, Germans, Pakis, or anything else in America. There are only Americans
You're right hera. It wasn't and still isn't being enforced now (the bill from the 80's), so why should this one be any different.
