I'm with sassyk I'm in southern California and I feel like we have already been removed from USA. I feel like we have been totally abandoned. The Federal Government doesn't care what happens to us.

No, but I would love to start a movement towards a constitutional convention to address and rectify problems with this issue. IT's time that the people of the USA lose the apathy and take back a government that has gone sadly awry. I love the USA and will fight to defend this great land against invaders and enemies foreign and domestic. The battlefield that needs to be entrenched is to put pressure on our respective legislatures to make the changes that WE THE PEOPLE want. And that is defined as WE THE LEGAL CITIZEN PEOPLE. I would rather fight for what we have than try and go our own way. The founding fathers blew up the articles of confederation and created our constitution. we likewise have the right to blow that up if necessary and start anew. I don't think that is necessary, but it is the right guaranteed us by our forefathers and mothers.

That's a STUPID question. How could you expect for any state to want to do that. It wouldn't even go through anyway because there are so much immigrants. Also, it sounds to me that you want a little bit of a communist country. Ha! I'm not even of age to vote, but if I was and that happened in Texas. Heck NO, I wouldn't vote for something that dumb. The illegal "issue" isn't bad enough to remove a state because of it. It's big but not that big. It's just something a bunch of racist would choose to do. I know New York, California, Texas and Florida wouldn't do it. There's to many immigrants in these states that it would be retarded to remove your state. Your just in a racist state of mind. The highest you will make it in trying to do that is just your city. I'm from Texas, and you probably know what they did to Farmers Branch, if you don't, they passed a law stating that all immigrants get out. It's dumb but it was just a bunch of racist people. Now Farmers Branch has nothing to rely on probably. The city looks dead. The immigrants did almost everything in that city.

Actually we already have done that on a small scale although I don't think a vote was involved. They call them sanctuary cities. Fairly common in California. City management gets together and decides that they will not enforce, nor will they cooperate with Federal authorities on immigration issues. Take a look at Los Angeles, one of the nations largest cities. La Racists Unida registered all the illegals to vote and put in "their" man, Antonio Villagoracist. San Francisco, another sanctuary city. Former Mayor, Dianne Feinstein, now State Senator and pro illegal alien.
What you are proposing is admirable but I don't think the US government would allow it. What are you crazy? actually enforce the law? preposterous. The Fed would have the troops in there in a heartbeat.
Our political elites have made their agenda very clear. A bill was put before congress to cut off funding to sanctuary cities. Now that makes perfect sense. If you won't support the government the government shouldn't support you. The political elites voted it down.
The will and desires of the American people are starting to become very clear to the political elites in Washington. All across the nation States and munincipalities are starting to enact anti illegal alien legislation. The ACLU is being spread thin. They just don't have the manpower to file suits against every piece of legislation that dares to enforce the law. Funny how the ACLU never challanged the law as long as it wasn't being enforced but now will challenge a law to enforce the law.
