I am an American citizen and as an educated individual acknowledge contributions of all immigrants regardless of "status" and support a reform that can shed some light on this shadow economy many avidly critique but partake in its benefits. I'm tired of listening to people whine about them.
I agree that illegal immigrants cause a real problem, but taking them all out of the country would also cause a problem. Illegals work for cheap labor which benefits the US (in some ways), but they want the rights and privileges of US citizens which they are not entitled to. (Because they're not citizens!)
This is why I've e-mailed those in Washington from my state, telling them I'll be watching their votes. I will not vote for anyone voting for amnesty.

It's NOT amnesty. It's an overly harsh law that very few people will be able to benefit from. You don't get to vote anyway, it is Congress that will pass the law.

Not half as tired as I am of people who think coming into our country illegally is okay. Do not forget which congressmen and women voted for amnesty.
