My cousin has no papers. But wants to go to college. what can she do if she's illegal here?

She'll get a tuition discount and most likely an affirmative action preference if she declares herself an illegal alien on the application to most state / public universities.
Go home.
Hopefully get deported.

Contact the INS and ask them. If she's "illegal", they aren't gonna do much, to be honest.

but there is no help. she has to pay for it herself.
but theres this program that if you have been going to school here in the usa for 3 or more years you can pay the same tuition as legal resident.

Considering the liberal slant that most colleges have, she could probably get a full scholarship to an Ivy League school just BECAUSE she is not legally here.
Seriously.. there are programs for education visas. Hell, we can even educate the terrorists on a visa program so I don't see why your cousin can't get an education too.
Just contact the USCIS and don't be afraid to ask them. They just want to help.

Since secondary education is one of the big industries left in this country, I am sure they will be happy to take her money and let her live here as a student in exchange for a college degree.
she needs to get a student visa. If she has a legal permit to work, then it should not be hard for her. If she is here illegally, she should be deported...
No sympathy here. Why should illegals be allowed to go to college at taxpayer expense? She needs to go home and take some more illegals with her.
If she has a legal social to work, she is not illegal. She just needs to find out the next step she needs to do in order to go to school and do what they say.
