What should I do? I didn't know I was living in the U.S.A. illegally until I became older.?

It's not fair! If it was for me, if I had had a choice, I wouldn't have come to the United States in the first place. When I was around 7or 8 years old I was brought to the United States. Now I know that I've been living here for most of my life with the status of been "illegal." Who is to blame a small child for he did not know what was going on? Now that's he's older, he just another person who is told "go back to your home country, get your papers just like everyone else." But I find that hard to do; I have a life here, my family, my friends. Whether or not I should go back has become a very hard decision for me to make. Before I came to the US, I was issued a SS# by an actually SS Office, meaning it isn't anyone’s except mine; it was issued to me and me only. The only difference about it is that is says that "I can't work." Can that get fixed? What should I do? I need advice. Should I do 2 years of college and go back to Mexico? I don't want 2 disappoint my parents/family.

Answer:
