I've tried to contact Sen. Sherrod Brown and none of my e-mails will go through. Do yours?

I can't believe that he has brought shame to the great state of Ohio by voting for that immigration bill!

Answer:
try calling your local news station and tell them he will not accept emails on this. vote him out.
well if you think that he is really looking at the e mail then no wonder he got voted in..
mine went through. are you at the right site

Sherrod Brown does NOT accept emails. I'm from Ohio, too, although I did not vote for him. Aren't you glad we have such wonderful representation? He does not accept emails. You have to call his office or write a letter.
I'm from Ohio, too, and didn't vote for him! Even though Mike DeWine was a RINO, DeWine was the lesser of two evils! I doubt that Brown gives a rat's a** about the voters in our great State! If we can survive six years of him and that sleaze bag, Ted Strickland, all Buckeyes deserve the highest civilian award from our next President, Fred Thompson!

At least George Voinovich voted against it; and he usually responds to e-mails!
I had the same problem. I currently live back in forth between Ohio and Kentucky, and even though you can only vote in one state I still bug them both. I don't know what the problem is with the email.

I don't know if you have access to a fax or not but that is what I am going to do tomorrow at work. You may have seen his fax number on his website, but here it is anyway:

Fax: 216-522-2239
Phone: 216-522-7272
I did that and this was the response I got! A lot of doublespeak: Thank you for contacting me about my views on the current immigration proposals being considered by Congress.

I have supported legislation to curb illegal immigration by increasing criminal penalties for alien smuggling and document fraud, eliminating the use of government documents that are easily forged, and doubling the number of border patrol guards. Better enforcement and tougher penalties for both undocumented immigrants and their lawbreaking employers are the way to fight unauthorized employment, and employment opportunities are what drive illegal immigration.

Unless we fix the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and the Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA) and enforce our own labor laws, we will continue to debate how high the fence should be and how many agents should guard our border – with no real solution in sight. In 1994, the U.S. signed NAFTA, which promised, among other things, to help create a thriving middle class in Mexico. At that time there were 3 million undocumented workers in the U.S.; today there are more than 11 million. In Mexico, 9 million more live in poverty than when NAFTA was enacted. NAFTA has failed the U.S. and Mexico. By creating an atmosphere where Mexican citizens feel they have no chance of a successful life in Mexico, these ill-conceived trade agreements increase the number of illegal immigrants coming into our country.

In addition to addressing the forces that are compelling illegal immigration, we must take action to bring illegal immigrants out of the shadows. While I do not support amnesty and have serious concerns about guest worker programs, I do believe our nation should consider establishing a process by which illegal immigrants can eventually earn citizenship.

The solution to our immigration problem will not be a simple one, as many things in our country need to be fixed to stop illegal immigration. It is time to take a common sense approach to immigration reform. Thank you again for contacting me.

Sincerely,
Sherrod Brown EDIT: I got this response on May 27, 2007. My guess is he has been flooded with emails and they can't keep up with the demand.
Here try these! Good Luck!
