This is indicative of the insidious nature of our particular foreign invasion. The fact that Yahoo and all of us just accept the inclusion of Spanish, and ONLY Spanish for the United States speaks volumes.
I live in California. In 1986, an amendment to California's constitution established English as the official language of the state. Yesterday I received a 12-page letter from the state government. Only the 1st page was English. There were 11 other languages. So printing, bindery and mailing costs (to the taxpayers) were outrageous compared to, perhaps, including 11 sentences with phone numbers on the back of the single-sheet English version.
As I said, it's insidious, and we're all pretty much letting it happen, aren't we? Pretty much like the Roman Empire...

I think it would make a lot of people here illegally very happy. It would also bring more illegals here, if you think 12-20 million is a lot, we would probably double or triple that. It would make millions of legal citizens very pissed. This could cause the breakdown of the United States in the long term. On top of all of that, you would have a total change in the 2008 election and everyone would be fighting for those 20 million votes. You have to realize that, as an example, the city of Detroit is approximately 1 million people. Legalizing them would in essence make 20 more cities the size of Detroit able to vote. That could make some major changes to our whole country very fast if they all vote.
