We should take over the mexican government. Rape their land of all its natural resources" mainly oil in the Gulf of Mexico" and inforce mandantory limits on children per house hold like in China and legalize cocaine and marijuana to ruin the black market. Put all the pickers that come to US on Share crop like farms growing pot and popey and coco etc for drugs. Turn Mexico into a little Shanghi sweat shop for American Corporations. Legalize prostitution and gambling in the entire country so the whole world could come to Mexico on vacation to get high gamble and enjoy sex for hire. I haven't got it all worked out but I think that is a good start.

There is an abnormal amount of immigration from Mexico to the US & it IS annoying to those who work and pay taxes. ... sure, I know immigrants make less than I do - but they need to play by our rules.

That is what Mexicans need to do - figure out what they want their country to be and WORK for it - we didn't get out infrastructure overnight & they won't either. Go back and work on your own country and put immigration back where it should be - a slow ebb and flow as people move to places they feel they fit in with . not going to a place for "free" medical care paid off of someone else's work.

If that North American Alliance thingie is allowed to be built, there will be nobody in the area that was once known as Mexico. I can gaurantee you, first day the Alliance starts, every single Mexican will start packing.
The main problem with most of the Americans is that people are giving opinions based on what they feel , whitout taking in consideration the effects and consequences of the goverments act. Trust me, the Goverment knows what they are doing..it is not about obtaining votes, it is about many other issues... You as an example..YOu are asking this question in a sarcastic way, becasue you are upset...But the truth is that something most be done...Sending them all back is truly impossible...Letting them stay here illegally is a problem too...The best thing is to solve this issue in the best way possible, not necessarly the way the most of the Americans will like it to be, but most of the Americans are not really aware of the consequences of trying to send them back or lock them in or whatever...Immigration is way more complicated and complex...A word of advice for you and everybody that is upset, please go research and investigate, what would be the consequences, what are possbile rational solutions to the problem, what can and cannot be done and why some of these things are just not possible.

is really when you are from the other side of the coin, the only thing that i can consider about this issue is that many people who are already living in this country are excellent people but some other aren't good people. i consider that the US needs to help those good people that they can get a better life here and those bad people need to remove from the society and if the government wants to help those help to get the papers, i figure out that the government knows what is good for the whole society and make this nation better and better.

I think we should just empty our prisons and send them to Mexico to let them see what we are dealing with.
Not that all illegal aliens are criminals, but the fact is: We don't know who they are when they arrive. They could in fact be criminals, they could be people without immunizations, ready to spread diseases which we believe we eradicated years ago. They could be poor, uneducated families needing a better life. We can't distinguish between the groups. Send them all home. I think I'll write letters to the major airlines to see if they would donate time, money, planes, to send people home.
