What are my chances of being granted a visa to holiday in USA?
Answer:
The Embassy in London will not issue you with a visa if you have committed a crime of "moral turpitude" Search the web for definitions of this, your crime does not fall into that category. You do need to apply for a tourist visa though, you will need copies of all court records to do with your conviction and sentence and will have to get a police check completed by your local constabulary. At the visa interview be prepared to answer honestly about your crime but don't volunteer any details other than how you have learned from your mistake and maybe that you have been more careful in choosing your friends since then. Show them you are a reformed character.
If you take the risk of trying to use the visa waiver process you may be refused entry, have to buy yourself a full price one wat ticket home and be banned from the US
i dont think they will keep u out of the country for minor theft but i have a question for you how much is a 30 pounds in u.s. dollars?
You must at least apply for a visa because you will not be allowed in without one
no you dont need a visa as such to visit america you just fill in a form onboard your flight to say you are a good boy.i have a far longer record more like an album. and i visit my brother regularly.I didnt visit him for many years.you dont need a visa to visit only if you are not coming back or wish to work.all you will need to do is on the plane you fill in a holiday form saying youre a good boy.
It depends. Were you born in the UK? I don't think it should be a problem, though. Unless you look like a terrorist. Do you look like a terrorist?
America is pretty strict you may have to go for an interview before they let you in but you may be lucky its best just to check tho if you ask your ombudsman or the CAB (citizens advice beuro) they should tell you good luck
