Would we see parts of Immigration in other bills?

You will see an even weaker bill passed in 2 years when we elect a Democrat as President and the Democrat's control Congress. The bill the Democrat's pass will have amnesty and no provision for penalties of any type. You can bank on it.
Possible Dream Act and AgJobs
I'd heard various groups were trying to bring back Dream Act and/or AgJobs and/or the H1B boondoggle.
However, a lot of others are saying that if they can't have what they want, they aren't giving anything. It seems to me that there was a majority of votes against the bill, however, and that majority, odd as it may seem, might be able to work together on this better than the Gang of 12.
However, people are stubborn, and I guess we'll have to wait and see.
What you can bank on - is that the representatives that have already heard from Americans regarding their reform bill wants to hear more from us. And my reps are on the lookout for any sneaky little parts of the immigration bill that others would place into other unrelated bills.
They might want to break in down in smaller bills. I guess the American people did not have change for the 2.3 trillion bill they tried to scram down our throats
