How can you- as a student "live" for your country?

Answer:
Wow, what a great question.

As a teacher and as an ongoing student, I wish I could tell every bright mind that the greatest thing they can do to contribute to their country is to question its leaders & the status quo. "Why is it like this?" "What do the intelligent, articulate critics say about it?" "Where is the proof to support your claim?"

Frederic Douglass said "He is a lover of his country who rebukes and does not excuse its sins." I hope that every young American serves his/her country by learning the virtue of DISSENT. I think there's nothing more patriotic.
Hey! My Momma lives in this country.
You can't 'live' for your country as a student, you're a burden until you've completed education and then are available to the job market.
a student is not necessarily a citizen of any particular country. Many of the students in a particular country are not citizens of the country that they are educated in. the question is open to interpretation by any answerer. Immigration and philosophy do not coincide.
Be the best you can be and expect it of others. The more people who do this the stronger our country will be.
