There are ways for people to legally gain access and citizenship to this nation. Crossing it illegally is not the way.
You say that these people are only trying to support their families, well the people of this country need to support their families as well. Placing an additional 12 million people into the system drawing from our financial stability takes away from our families. The jobs that are lost to those who come here illegally takes away from our families. We have been loosing jobs in mass numbers to Mexico, we shouldn't loose any more jobs North of the boarder to illegal immigrants.
One might say that the immigrants are only taking jobs that Americans will not take. After they moved the illegal immigrants out of the meat houses, there were plenty of Americans lines up to fill those positions.
When the illegals are shipped back to Mexico, send their children with them. No problem.

If Mexicans can organize a march like they did in May of last year...they can do that in their own country!!!

No, their crime was violation of federal immigration laws.
Their goal might have been finding a way to support their families. But the method they chose to pursue that goal involved criminal activity in violation of federal laws.
It's amazing to me how many people think it's ok to break the laws, if the goals you are trying to accomplish are noble. If you want to go that route, let's just throw out most criminal laws entirely, and punish people based solely on their goals.
O.K., lets look at what happened. The immigrants (illegal aliens) entered our country illegally, in violation of our laws. They proceeded to acquire families, and have children. When they get caught, everyone points a finger at ICE, for doing their jobs. I'm all for reuniting the spouses and children, and then deporting them all. People seem to have lost sight of the fact that the kids were left all day to fend for themselves. They fail to realize that their is a drain on our resources, paid for by our tax dollars, by these people. These immigrants, have no intention of becoming Americans, they only want to take our goods and services, and send our money back to their homeland. Now the bleeding heart liberals, are crying for them, and condemning the government for upholding the laws that our alleged representatives in Congress made. Why doesn't Ted Kennedy, and John Kerry, and Nancy Palousi, give these people free rent in their own homes?
And the families have no responsibility here ICE is not suppose to enforce the law if you have a child?. There are programs in place for issues like this. I don't buy this new slogan support their families, you do not have the full history of all these people. Using fake documents is a crime- you didn't indicate just how many Americans ID'S were illegally in use in this raid was it one or 20 or 50 how many ?.If you want to base the law of tearing familes apart than I, know Millions of women in the world who meet this entitlement, I demand they be released from anything that keeps them apart from their kids. Let's just base our laws on how it will affect the kids. These are suppose to be grown men and women and they sound they are still in high school, it's always everyone else's fault.I think I'll have about 10 kids rob a bank a day than yell you're tearing my family apart when the police come knocking.

The crime is that they came here illegally or overstayed their visa's. Had they gone through the proper channels and paperwork(like my grandfather did in early 1900's) then people would not have a problem with them at all. If you break the law, you get fined or jailed, so why should the illegal immigrants be allowed to get away with breaking the law. If the parents get deported--send the kids back with them to their proper country.

- I couldn't agree more. I have no sympathy for illegals who come over here, have children over here, and then whine when they get deported. They knew they were here illegally and they need to accept the consequences.
I don't think their children should be given citizenship simply because their parents happened to breed here after sneaking across the border. Send the whole family back to their country of origin.
As for the whole "but I'm only trying to support my family" argument - don't have children you can't support. Haven't some people ever heard of birth control? It irritates me to no end to see 'struggling' families with five or six kids. If you can't support a family you shouldn't be creating one in the first place.

Well, even many citizens and legal immigrants were forced to be torn apart from their families, under reasons like abuse, neglect, late child support fee, DNA test, and so on.
So it's not like illegal immigrants are the only ones facing this problem.
As for children being torn apart from their families due their differences in citizenships.
