Are immigrants unwelcome in the USA?
Answer:
They are very welcome.legally. Uncontrolled flow of population in a short period of time does not give society (not just socially, but also economically) to adjust.
not racism, just patriotism and people who want to protect our soveriengty and constitution
Illegal invaders are unwelcome. Legal immigrants are welcome. There is racism in the US, but none in my neighborhood or family.
i believe this is our country and that is your country you say where you are and we stay where we are. and i don't have a big deal with immigrants its when they don't speak English and/or i loose a position at a job to one.
PS only applies to illegal
Only the ones that won't immigrate legally
Only the illegal ones. It is illegal to be in this country without proper documentation (Visa/passport/immigration papers etc) just as it's illegal to murder. A law is a law.
No, as long as your legal
immigrants are always welcome in America. The only reason they wouldn't be is if they're illegal.
The US is made of immigrants (mostly) so any legal immigrant is welcome. Illegal immigrants probably wouldn't be as welcome with most people.
Well this question gets asked at least once a day. The answer is always the same. Illegal immigrants are unwelcome and it has to do with breaking our laws, not racism.
if you come in with your papers than that all OK and as for racism ya there a lot of it going a round. but then that the would.. we welcome thought that come here the right way i do not like the one that crawl on there belly's under the wires and think it OK for us to pay there way.. now that can make me mad...
Well, I know that legal immigrants are welcome in the states. I really don't think it matters if you're japanese, chinese, taiwanese, mexican, cuban, canadian, russian, or otherwise, if it's not lawful you're likly to be hated. Mostly because of what you did, and not the color of your skin.
There are so many illegal Latinos in the US that we have learned to privately or publicly dislike or even hate their presence.
If you come here legally and become a productive citizen with something to offer society you will be welcomed by most. But there are always a few bad eggs in the bunch that are undesirable that were born & raised here,
Immigrants? They are VERY welcome here in the USA...
Now ILLEGAL ALIENS? No, they are not welcome at all here. There is a very big difference between the two. They need to be deported to their country of origin. That is not being racist, that is respecting a countries immigration laws.
Not at all. All people here where immigrants at one time. We only want them to come here legally. No, no more than the rest of the world. Peace
The USA is a country made up mostly of immigrants the only native Americans are the Indians who are desendents of the only people here before 1600. The majority of citizens in the USA welcome legal immigrants there will always be some who object to anyone different than themselves. But as a whole the USA is still the safest country in the world for people of different cultures. But we must know who is entering our country because there are those who are out to try and bring down this great country.
They are absolutely welcome. However there is a set way to go about this immigration that illegals do not follow. It's been the established rule for many years that immigrants learn the language, our history and such. To do otherwise seems pretty silly. There is no racism either(in my opinion). Hispanics are given(as well as every other race) just as much chance to succede as their peers.
Well, our government actively encourages immigration of ALL sorts, legal and illegal, usually to manipulate them and make more money/votes. The people are, in general, okay with legal immigrants, but many actively oppose illegal immigration - there are a bunch of open-border traitors though.
There is no racism involved - the reason it seems Mestizos are targeted is because they make up the bulk of the illegal immigration, are unscrupulous in their birthrate, and many times have an attitude of "well it was our land first - so you owe us". These things can sour our attitudes to people who immigrate from the south and make many suspicious of Mestizo immigrants.
Immigrants are welcome. It's the illegal immigrants that are not welcome. It isn't racism. It is a legal matter. Why should someone go through the legal process and expense when others can just sneak in and steal our services. Illegal Mexicans steal from every one of us Americans. They get free health care, free food, free housing, free school lunches and breakfast for their large families, etc. They get all the goodies that Americans that are born here do not get. Kick them back across the border. They are not welcome.
No, only illegal immigration. If they are willing to go through the process of becoming an American then they are more than welcome but if not then they're not Americans and need to go back to wherever they came from.
What part of the word illegal do you not understand, Maria?
Immigrants in "controlled numbers" are more than welcome, if you jumped our border and broke every law you saw fit to obtain what you wanted then you should not be here and will eventually be deported.
Legal aliens are very welcome, the diversity is great. the illegal aliens are what make it bad. It's not even all illegal aliens, some are great. i know people who bafore they bacame kegal, they volunteered at the firedepartment, or helped the cops. the ones that burn our flags, or expect to live here for free are unwelcome.
yes because Americas population is made of immigrants
depends, if you follow our law to get here then
legal immigrants yes... illegal no
theres plenty of racism here if you want to come here looking for it instead of labeling it as ignorant and putting yourself above it
the negative tone of your questioning is right along the lines of the victimized and "its not fair" mentality of the many people in our country right now
why so much negativity?
Yes and no. Some, yes.
