Who do you think has more rights in the USA,illegal immigrants or legal immigrants ?
Answer:
Legal immigrants do.Depending on their status, such as gaining citizenship a legal immigrant can vote and do all that an American who was born here can do.Illegal immigrants have only basic human rights granted to them i.e. Emergency medical care and the right to breathe.llegals are often victims of crime but are afraid to report it so those crimes continue and aren't documented.Anyone who thinks an illegal has so many rights is just uninformed.
legals.
The illegals seem have more rights here which is ridiculous.
The legal ones
Legal immigrants. I do not want to be insensitive to the illegal immigrants which in many cases work very hard for little money and a lot of abuse. But...
I have never understood US immigration policy. At the airports they make everybody feel like a criminal (and that even before 9-11) as if everybody wants to come and stay.
Then you spend years getting an education, either abroad or in the US. And even when it is in US (as a foreign student) they make it really difficult for you to get a job or even a CoOp.
And then they just allow a horde of immigrants to obtain their migration status and papers just like that. What does that say? "We do not value educated people"
Certainly it makes no sense, all those xenophobic attitudes about "the immigrants" and the building of that disgraceful (not to mention hypocrit) wall of shame at the border with Mexico and then want to just give a legal immigrant status to millions of illegals? (and this is not the 1st time!).
Really, either these politicians are just insane, plain dumb/stupid.
Now, it could also be that Mr Bush (a disgrace for the US people I would say) wants to finally do something with his campaign promises to latin people after all that goof up with the wall, etc. But now it is time to get votes and wants to lean on the people he turned his back on.
I don't live in the USA but i´m sure legal immigrants have more rigths in the USA.
Beginning with the rigt to walk trougth the streets, witouth the risk of being deported.
Remember human rigths are inherent to the human being, so, in that field, there's not supposed to be diferences between person, in any place in the world, regardless their legal situation. Remember, even a prisoner is supposed to have his human rigths.
But in many other fields, any legal immigrant in the USA has the rigth to look for the work in any place they want, to leave a job and look for any other, they can travel around the country, they have the rigth to go out of the country and come back again as much as they want.
So, i guess the legal immigrants have more rigths than the illegal immigrants.
Illegals should not have any rights here in the U.S. They are, as you mentioned, ILLEGAL. But yet, here they are marching in the streets, demanding for rights. Here they are, up at the welfare office demanding for freebies.
