To answer the question, yes it is not fair, I should know because I was one of those kids and honestly I do not consider myself a criminal because I was brought here thinking we are going on a vacation to Florida. Am I a criminal? Do I have to go back to a country I barely know? I grew up here. My parents have always paid taxes. I am not justifying them, but at least I am not leeching off of you when it comes to my education. Dont worry, we are not on welfare either and we have health insurance. Oh yeah and I am not a gang member, but rather a 4.0 student. But I guess no matter what I do some of you will still call me a criminal, for a crime that I have not committed.

Rules should be followed. If there should be a room for compassion, as probably is the right thing to do, then change the rule. But as long as the rule stays as it is, then it must be obeyed. Otherwise, break the rest of it.
Why do you not see that US citizen "humans" are affected also? We also have children and elderly and millions without basic health care. I did not see your earlier post about children but most of us surprisingly have emotions and a soul, we are thinking of our citizens and our people, no one wants to see children and the elderly suffer but how many can we take in before our entire social structure implodes?
I understand that everyones emotions are running high after the fight over the reform bill but don't you think it would be wiser to work for change in the countries of the illegal immigrants rather than ask the US to import those problems and harm our people? Mexico has problems but they also have a higher GNP than most people can even imagine.. To answer your question politics tends to separate people into categories and that is what you are seeing. Many just have a different view than you.
Mexico is not a country with high malnutrition rate. There are countries in Africa that is far worse off, actually. Thats why we see a lot more commercials of African Kids with bloated stomaches and spidly legs when they ask for donations, tahn we do for Mexicans. In politics, we need to look at the big picture rather than what we see in front. We need to look how many lives are saved decades from now rather tahn one sad face. As to kids in Prison we have them for our citizen. I don't know when they are taken out but young babies are allowed to stay with their mothers. Besides, it's more of the parents fault their kids are in that state. And yes I do shut off my emotion very easily. I work in medicine, and I found that if I violate the rules because I found out a patient is dieing I actually more likely to endanger the patient. Rules are the thoughts of a lot of people over a long period of time. My reaction is a thought of one fallable person over a split second. Which is more likely to be correct.

I see all illegals as criminals because they broke the law by entering the country illegally. we have laws and ANYONE who breaks them is a criminal so if you are an illegal you are a criminal one in the same.
We The People made this country what it is today. Its like letting a classmate study their butt off for an exam and then just copying their answers for an A. Its wrong. Letting people break the laws to sneak into our country and then allowing them to enjoy the fruits of OUR labor is wrong. Underage illegal immigrants and little old lady illegal immigrants and 28 yr old drug dealer illegal immigrants are all the same in the respect that they are ILLEGAL. PERIOD. Deport them and let them go through the process legally if they want to return. That's right.

And millions of good hearted, honest people that have to work two and three jobs just to survive. Why do you think some or most anti-illegal immigrant (you can't even call them immigrants, they are just illegal aliens) people in America are going so bonkers over this issue? We have all we can take on our own plates, and it's a matter of survival for some of us too! Its morally reprehensible for any woman to lay down with a man knowing she may become pregnant, but yet can't afford to feed her offspring, but yet, this is what you see all around you! At least I did today, when I saw a family of 5,6,7? of mexicans and there the mother was, PREGNANT AGAIN! Who will pay for that child being born? Americans! Maybe we have our own children to worry about. I'm only asking that you be open minded to the other side too.

Okay first of all, If they send them back where they belong (Mexico or where ever) then they can do what they are doing here in the states. Put together massive rallies and marches until they are heard! They can get these organizations ( Aztlan, meza, and all the other ones) to help them, you know their mod-ow is SI SE PUEDE, then if that is so..then why not do it in their country? Why come to America and demand things they have no right to demand? Why come and burden US.
