Were there actual green cards given in 1962?
IMMIGRATION & NATZ.
DETROIT, MI
OCT 1, 1962
ACT 301 (a) (7)
DOES THIS NOT MEAN I BECAME A CITIZEN THEN BECAUSE MY mother was born & raised here until the end of WWII was over and she moved to canada to be with my father (his family was larger)
Answer:
You should follow up further; I am not a lawyer, but it looks like it may be that you were given that stamp because you gain citizenship by birth abroad to a US citizen parent. As far as I know, that ACT 301 (a)(7) refers to a law passed in 1952 (which has since been updated and has a different number) which governed granting US citizenship to babies born abroad to at least one US Citizen parent.
Green cards were in fact originally green when they were introduced shortly after World War II.
YES, the first ones were green, because I used to have one and it was green looking. As for the other I don't know, you need to find that out at the INS office. Good Luck!
I do not think it matters, the only immigrants they want out are mexicans
