I wonder if the "American Indians" felt the way we feel now with the influx of illegal aliens...?
Answer:
Will Rogers:" The real problem with this country is the Indians very liberal immagation Laws a long time ago".
Probably, and they fought us tooth and nail until one side was virtually extinct. Should the same happen with the illegal invaders?
I'm sure they did.
But a better question might be: What American Indians?
When is the last time you saw an American Indian? I'm not sure they even exist anymore!
I'm an american indian I love white people! They spend lots of money at our casinos!
Um, no one from that time period is still alive, so don't blame us, you worthless trashy hippie
Funny you should say that,I still think the funniest thing I ever heard was a warning from Senator Ben Nighthorse Campell about enforcing immigration laws saying that American Indians didn't enforce their immigration laws and look what happened.

I'm not sure the Hispanic population is taking our land, forcing us onto reservations, and making us adapt to there religion. We would technically not be illegal immigrants, but guilty of a host of other crimes.
Yes, the Native Indians looked at the Pioneer and Legal Immigrants as invaders. They thought the Pale face was gonna take them over. Indians were afraid of the Pale face and started to attack families. Took scalps and butchered entire families. Soon word was sent back to the East shores telling new Immigrants to be armed and prepared to battle with the American Indian. In the beginning the Indians were not friendly. At least the illegal invaders nowdays do not have to worry about mass killings of entire families. Or being scalped. More civilized now.
Impossible. They did not have a concept of land ownership like the Europeans did. And, as much as they were afraid of the Europeans, they were also intrigued and fascinated by the guns, spices, and metal works brought by them. It is really ridiculous to see history so over simplified. There were so many different tribes, and there were several different European nations landing on the continent, and all had differing relationships. Some were strained, some were actually amicable.
Not the same. They didn't have a nation with social services that we snuck in and stole from them while we worked under the table and burned their tribal flags in the streets, protesting for rights that they had to pay for.
Are you getting it?
Why do you speak of us Natives in the past tense? We are still fighting the great immigration battle, and we will continue until this land is purified once again.
Josh, look! A real indin! OMG!
I am sorry to say that a part of our shameful past, but that does mean that we are going to lay down and let others do the same to us
If you don't know any Native Americans, you need to get out more and travel. (The ones I know consider themselves Americans just like myself and don't use their Native American-ness to get attention.)
Trying to start more crap by conjuring up history is a mistake and is why the Middle East is so backward.
i'm thinking yes...
