Why you would blame our government for the problems with Mexico astounds me. If you want to lay blame, look no further than the rampant corruption that is Mexico. I blame our government for not dealing with the problem of illegals here in our country. Yes, I understand that things are rough in Mexico, but unless we want a similar situation here, we have got to do something to stop them from coming in. It is time to put a stop to the United States subsidizing the country of Mexico via illegal workers. And if Mexico is so bad, why don't the people of Mexico do something to fix the problem instead of fleeing.
Please stop with the stealing of food from the mouths of the poor children from Mexico, that question needs to be addressed to the parents of those children in Mexico. Mexico is a very wealthy country both in wealth and capital, so please it is not about the way it's about the will. Also please stop hiding behind the children, stand up to the Mexican government and risk your like if need be, and stop showing your children that you are cowards by stealing from the good people of America

I agree with all three. I blame their government the most. I might have more compassion if I start hearing the Mexicans are working here to help fund a revolution and if they were protesting in our streets to ask Americans to help them overthrow their government rather than attack our country.

You raise a very good point. I do not blame them for wanting a better life for them and there family but I can not support them breaking the law. I think our government is not to blame but shouldn't it be the blame of their own government that does not assist and support them. Bottom line even if you steal bread to feed your family and you get caught you will be prosecuted it is there fault for breaking the law no matter the reason.

You can't blame the immigrants for wanting to be here but you have to blame them for wanting to be here illegally. There is a process and it has to be followed. If Americans were to travel outside of our borders into other countries, we are asked for passports and documentation to show that we are not trying to enter that country illegally. I know the difference is that we choose to go to other countries and the Mexican immigrants are forced to flee here but there still is a law and that law has to be upheld in order for our society to function properly. What about immigrants that are criminal and are fleeing here for safety? Is it responsible to allow criminals to freely enter our country and possibly hurt our families, friends and loved ones? There are so many variables and the argument can go on and on, but there has to be some ramification for anyone who attempts not follow the rules.
The corporations looking for cheap labor. No matter what the economists tell you, immigration is allowed because of the cheap labor. This idea that illegal immigrants boost salaries is a lie. Why is it that the laws of supply and demand get rescinded in no other instance except the ones where its suspension means corporations and CEOs make more money?

I would NOT steal bread to feed my children. I wouldn't have children in the first place if I couldn't afford to feed them. I think it is so irresponsible for anyone to keep popping out babies when they can hardly afford to keep a roof over their own heads. But our govt keeps rewarding illegals when they have babies by providing them with free health care, free education, free housing, food stamps, etc.

Yes the government is to blame just as ours is. If any of you who are against illegals, go live in the places they are fleeing from. I know what I am talking about because I have family in Mexico. It's not all like the beach resorts you go to on your vacations, venture out side those walls. Your going to sit there and say it's not the government when they are bought by the drug dealers. They have no middle ground, there are no opportunities like there are here. My sister in law is a doctor and do you think they get paid good money? NO they don't. If you want your child to have a good education you have to pay for private school, but how are you suppose to do that? Not to mention getting food, clothes, shoes, and necessities in the home. Us Americans are very fortunate we were born into such a great country, and we take that for granted. We have become such a selfish country that we have forgotten what this country was founded on. Before too long, no one will want to come to the United States, and all will get what they wanted.
I AM Mexican, live in Mexico and lucky to be part of the very small group of "well to do" people here. I love to visit the US (with my tourist visa) and I agree that people shouldn't break the law, but I cant help but sympathize with the people who go to the US to seek a better life for their family. Many people here say that we should be doing something to improve our country, but it's not as easy as it sounds, the government is VERY corrupt and it's almost impossible to infiltrate politics if you are an honest person trying to do something better for the country because all of the corrupt politicians find ways to bring you down. Unfortunately, the only kind of revolution, if there ever is one, it will be led and funded by another political party that is even more corrupt than the one in power now. So we are screwed any way. That is why people who want a better life risk it by going to your country. So in conclusion, THE MEXICAN GOVERNMENT IS THE MOST TO BLAME.
I recently moved from Texas where it is impossible to find decent work, much less a decent wage, big business there have hired the illegals and thus brought a new standard of wage.
Try to rent an apartment for under $500 a month.the illegals live 10-12 in each, hot cotting, working for $7.00 per hour...I blame first Bush for letting them in then I blame big business for employing them...
