So, when they take down that part of the border fence that they built in Mexico (like idiots) how much fence?
"Calderón, speaking before departing Mexico City for a diplomatic visit to Belize, has been taking a more aggressive stance toward the United States than his predecessor, Vicente Fox, who had sought to parlay a personal friendship with President Bush into an immigration accord. Calderón and his top lieutenants were incensed this week after discovering that portions of the wall on the U.S.-Mexican border are in Mexican territory. Calderón said he complained to U.S. officials and received assurances that those parts of the wall would be removed before the end of the week."
Well, congratulations, Bush, one way to not really have border security is to build it in someone else's country, and have to tear it down.
What do you think?

Answer:
I don't believe it!
they need to put a fence up and put army on the boarder so Mexicans would stop cumming over her and taking are economy down
I think it's more Bush BS. By the way if they can remove those parts by the end of the week, why can't they move as fast on building it on our territory?
I think Mexico & it's people has the nerve to complain... Our government should start deporting any illegal alien from Mexico 1st & then the rest of the illegals from all other countries. Mexico wants to benefit from America in any way they can. I heard it will cost $3 million dollars to remove the 1.5 miles worth of accidental fense & that Mexico wants it done right away! But... Our government won't use their example on how to enforce immigration laws. We should be doing just as Mexico is doing. They are being extremely strick with their immigration laws, while we just continue to support (mostly) their people. It's sooooo, sickening!
That is insane! I am not surprised if it was Bush's idea to build it there!
What did you expect from this administration?..unreal.
I think it's funny that he says "we made a grave error" or something like that. What does he plan to do about it?? I think since the fence in already there and on their property let them take it down. LOL
I think so much of Mexico is in the United States a trade is in order. We'll take the fence down and they take their citizens back...fair enough?
First off, it is a vehicle barrier, not part of the fence. Second point, so what? Is Mexico going to attack (they're already invading)? I'll bet a flight of B-52's over Mexico city would help sedate Calderón's anger. I'll also lay odds that he'd step up border security if our spineless government told them to do so or face the consequences. If President Jimmy was sitting in the Oval Office, Mexico would have been told of a border adjustment in our favor effective today.
Well hopefully we are not at war with the wrong country. Wouldn't that be a boo boo?!

Hmm...wonder if Calderon would like it if we made a real mistake and accidentally bombed away their line of defense on their southern border.
This whole article offends my American heart.
Those 12 million people are not by any means, "victims"..
they victimized the US by entering illegally.
Their claims we do not support democracy is ridiculous. Our democracy is what keeps us strong, because it is a democracy, not a plutocracy, oligarchy or dictatorship in disguise like in some of nations to the south. Democracy just won here as the majority of the people spoke up and ruled the day.
I don't care if some officials for corrupt nations criticize us for not accepting illegals as citizens, for they simply are not our citizens. Those attitudes from our southern "friends" will continue to assure they never will be either.
I guess the sooner the better for the people of those nations to lose their "appreciation" of the US..maybe then they will coming here at all.
PS..If Bush wants to move any part of the fence, he should physically do it himself.
I don't really think it is onMexican soil. They don't want the fence because it will ruin their economy and will do anything to have it removed.
Remember the two contractors who hired illegal immigrants to build a portion of the fence. They weren't illegal if they built it on Mexico's side of the border.
Smells fishy to me...I bet this is a way that Bush is using to "Punish" the US people. I mean REALLY?!?! How do they know it is on Mexican Territory...it is separated via the Rio Grand!
I'm glad Calderon told his people that America is hostile to immigrants! Maybe that will give some of them second thoughts about coming here. Can you imagine if the bill would have passed and Calderon said America wants you.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ! YOU ARE SHOWING YOUR IGNORANCE WHEN YOU BLAME " BUSH " FOR THE FENCE NOT BEING BUILT ! THE DAMN FENCE WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN BUILT IN 1986 , 1994 , 1997 , 1998 , and in 2000 ; all in TED KENNEDY sponsored ILLEGAL AMNESTY BILLS , AND EACH ONE OF "HIS" ^ BILLS HAD THE PROMISE OF A FENCE BEING BUILT !! DAMN , READ SOME HISTORY !!!
