They say illegal take the jobs nobody wants, right?
Answer:
They're only taking jobs nobody wants at the crappy wage level they're offering. People will do the crappy jobs but its going get done for more than a crappy wage.
I agree with you that they are just getting paid a lower wage to do the same job as an able bodied american, but they are people too. They are just looking to get ahead like everyone else that immigrated to this country.
Immigrants are filling the jobs that Americans won't take? What a load of crap, I am so tired of hearing that from politicians. Americans will take any job, we are a hard working people. We just won't take those jobs for $2.00 an hour. If the companies that hired these people were forced to pay fair wages to LEGAL AMERICANS, all of the jobs would be filled. This is such a load of crap. I would love for these politicians to tell that to an out of work college student who cannot find a job because they are all taken by illegal Mexicans.
Americans nowadays are too spoiled to do that labor regardless of salary.
Isn't it funny, they really think we made up those jobs to give illegal aliens work.
I think you've answered your own question. Nobody wants those jobs, because the wages are too low and haven't been increased commensurate with the cost of living. So yes, still, nobody wants those jobs.
But remember, somebody had to turn their back years ago and let illegals in to the country in order for those persons to work those jobs. This didn't happen overnight. It was politicians themselves who were lobbied and allowed it to happen.
Illegal immigrants are also taking what used to be well paying jobs, framers, cement workers, masons, and a multitude of other contractor based fileds are now being flooded by illegal immigrants. Most of these jobs have an average bring home wage of 1000 dollars plus a week. I don't care where you live that's good money, and these are not jobs that nobody else wants. these are jobs that are not available to legal workers because of Illegal immigrants flooding the market.
Americans will gladly work any job , but will not settle for mediocre pay as we generally don`t shack up with a dozen other people who split the cost.We also have to pay our bills, ie:schools, healthcare ,safety, insurances, food, transportation housing,TAXES out the rectum, and on and on, (most of which are to offset the deadbeats)
Hence , we cannot live on peanuts like Ilegals do.
Let us not forget illegal means illegal. Make gov. enforce the laws on the books and we dont have a problem. I am all for immagration but dont favor all of Mexico moving here because they have a crappy country who cares nothing for its citizens. I propose we pull out of Iraq and head to Mexico to liberate the people there from its oppresive gov.
Our politicians only want u tho think they are trying to stop illegal immagration. Its only a front.
Check out the history of agriculture in our country. You won't find a time when working Americans were making decent wages for picking crops. What's really hurting the American laborer? Companies taking jobs oversees, taking advantage of free trade policies that allow for the exploitation of cheap oversees labor for the benefit of corporations and the social elite in third world nations. Of course, this is also the reason we can buy $200 televisions and $15 pairs of jeans, and we'd rather not see that change, right?
I'm curious. If you pay people a decent wage to pick the crops, slaughter the animals, clean the stores, wash the dishes, etc, how much more am I going to pay when I head to the grocery store, restaurant, and mall? Personally, I think all people, absolutely all people, should earn a living wage for their labor. When faced with the consequences, though, I'm not sure most people are willing to live with the consequences. Illegal immigration gives us an underground source of cheap labor to prop up our way of life, easily exploited because they lack status, willing to do difficult labor because of the abject poverty they come from. Most politicians know this. Heck, I've spoken to many border patrol agents who know this. That's why immigration reform will be debated around election times--it's an emotional issue that riles up the bases--but ultimately nothing significant will change.
Illegals have always been working in the fields. I seriously doubt you will find an American who wants to work in the fields even for a decent wage.
The U.S. prostituted it's self out to become the leader of the "New World Order" - by sending jobs overseas and strengthening the countries that always end up turning on us (like the new British government) - So, in order to compete with India, Taiwan, China, and all the others - we have to accept slave wages that only the illegal immigrants are willing to take - in order to compete with this "new world economy" that we manufactured. Remember " When you hold up your middle finger at someone - there are always four fingers pointing back at you!".
