Moving to a foreign country at 18?

I am 15 right now, but I am seriously considering moving to either Australia or Denmark right after I graduate high school. Do you have any tips about moving overseas?

Answer:
Do what you want honey. Live your dream. This can include planning for the future but don't forget to live and love life in the present. You still got 3 years and a lot can happen in that time. But don't listen to that guy who felt inclined to brag about his travels before telling you not to go anywhere. Even if the US is the greatest country in the world, doesn't mean you shouldn't go somewhere and take a shot at a new experience in a New Land. That is the very idea of what America is supposed to be about! Study hard, start making contacts in those countries, if you haven't already, and if you decide on Denmark, learning Danish would undoubtedly be a good idea if you plan to work. Good luck, live for your dreams, and don't let anyone on mytend.com or anyone else for that matter try to stop you...
you always want to have some money saved up in case anything happens
good luck on that dream buddy...

MY NUMBER ONE TIP IS GET STREET SMART..
I have been all over the world (including Australia and Denmark). The United States is the greatest nation on earth. Stay right where you are. The grass is not always greener. If you still insist on going save up your money and check the immigration regulations in whatever country you are moving to. You will need a visa to stay long term. Unlike the US if you overstay your visa you will be deported back to the USA. Some countries actually enforce their immigration laws.
How do you plan to support yourself? If you are planning to just move to a foreign country and start living and working as you would do if you were moving to Des Moines, Iowa... then forget it... You won't be able to work legally in any foreign country unless you get resident alien status.

There are some rough places in Europe, or Asia or Australia or any other country and every year hundreds of wild eyed young girls from America go there expecting to find heaven... and end up in hell... they are exploited, kidnapped, turned into junkies and protitutes... AND THEY ARE NEVER HEARD FROM AGAIN.
money, know what will u do in there first, dont get lost,
u have a fren or family there that can help u? its better if u have.
learn the culture.
I don't know about you moving to Denmark but Australia have a nice long drawn out process at immigration. It would be a better idea to go to university (apply in your home country) and see if you can do a semester in Australia or Denmark. That way you'll have some background in either country and know exactly what you want. You'll be qualified and considered much more valuable to any country then some just out of high school kid.
Have you checked into the Danish immigration laws? They're tricky... Also Denmark is one to visit, living there is an entire different experience (and not necessarily a positive one).

I think your best bet would be an university exchange program.

Never been to Australia.
