Why is California bending over backwards and letting our state become flooded with illigal immigrants?

ACLU. Every time a local municipality wants to try to pass an ordinance that help stop the influx of illegals, the ACLU steps in and says it's wrong and files an injunction. So thank the liberals for the ACLU which you can in turn thank them for the influx of illegals as well.
As for Stephanie D, I must disagree. In the Clinton administration about the only thing he did get done besides Monica, he passed a welfare reform bill that since its inception has never been enforced. It states that the Government will pay for training of your choice, your transportation, child care, daily living expenses for 2 years and help you find a job but after 2 years the welfare is gone. Now that being the case I am not from California but I am sure that there are many people that are on Welfare in that state. If the welfare reform bill would be enforced then those that are on welfare would have no choice but to get a job whether they "wanted" to do it or not. Which in turn would make less jobs for the illegals. I see nothing wrong with this. But much like the borders it takes "ENFORCEMENT".

Because California is a dumb state. They think it's good to the economy to let in all the illeagal immigrants so they can take our jobs, identities, and they can even live off the government. Did you know 1/3 of prisons are illeagal immigrants?
Maybe because it" the first place populated by the border. And the State isn't going to spend money out of their pocket to try to rectify it when the federal gov't is divided on the issue. And besides, we still don't know how many new towns there is in Texas with the influx of illegals.

The more Latinos are there, the bigger the voting bloc they'll be, and the more they'll have politicians cater to their desire to let in their friends, relatives, and neighbors from south of the border. In Oaxaca, Mexico they're having to let Guatemalans immigrate and farm there because all the Mexican farmers have emmigrated to the US.
It is easier to look the other way, than to become involved and actually take a stand on our own soil. Let the other guy handle this - or - no one is being hurt by their coming here. In truth, we are the other guy, and all of us are being hurt by this. People, illegal is illegal..and nothing is ever going to make that right!
I live in northeastern WI, and trust me, alot of the factory jobs here are being given away, as the companies are driving up illegals to fill the positions of those we sent overseas to Iraq! We need and want these jobs, but they say we are too qualified! We have families and children to feed and care for. People, wake up!

Well, let's see now. How about Agribusiness? California needs someone to pick the lettuce and the Ya-Ya's who reside in the Golden State find that kind of stoop labor demeaning. To say nothing about keeping the lawns mowed and the landscaping perfect - and, heavens, who would nanny the children if there were no illegals? - or clean the hotel rooms, work the landfills. I don't see many residents clamoring for the jobs...do you? Besides, if California really wanted to end the illegal immigration, all they would have to do is impose HUGE fines on the businesses who hire them from the street corners - but they won't do that. Someone has to sweep the streets, dear, and I'll bet you and yours aren't willing to do it.
hey have you been to north carolina lately? new orleans ........ everyone that use to do that kind of work is loosing their jobs. It cost employers alot to hire a legal person, unemployement insurance ,workmans comp on and on. our government is just for big corporations. I have been painting for 20 years! I am sick of hearing that they are doing jobs that americans are to lazy to do. americans use to do those jobs before. check this link out there buying houses, taking jobs, getting bank accounts, buying cars, getting drivers license, unemployement benefits all while being illegal. I read that they head straight for north carolina to get there drivers license because its so easy for them. the instruction books at the dmv are in spanish and we have to pay for them with our taxes not the illegals they dont have to pay for them. I am barely making a living. every month I am behind in rent. while I could visit every construction looking for work and see nothing but illegals.
