Thai Fiance Scams?
I am in Washington DC. She's somewhere in Arizona "sightseeing." What is going on? Parents in Bangkok said they thought she was with me. Cousin now living in LA knows nothing about where she is. Everyone's a liar. Now no one will answer my calls. I thought immigration requires that the sponsor pick up the fiance at the airport! I sent a letter to the USCIS in Vermont withdrawing the visa. I contacted ice.gov to alert them to a scam. Can they do anything to her now? Can she be deported? What about my liability if she has an accident or does something illegal? Please help!
Answer:
I hate it when that happens...
Seriously though-- When a person enters on a fiancee visa, she has 90 days to marry the person who petitioned for her. She CANNOT just go and get her greencard through another marriage or through her family members. Her fiancee visa will expire and she will be unlawfully here. If detained, she will be deported.
There is no requirement that the sponsor pick her up at the airport. Once the visa is issued, she can travel without notifying you. At this time, all you can do is notify USCIS and ICE. If you haven't filed the Affidavit of Support yet, you have no financial obligations to her.
maybe she already had a visa or whatnot, and just wanted some money. Could have been an attempt to scam, but since you never paid, she just vanished.
LOL that's women for you. Forget about her.

You should make an appointment with the local CIS office, go in, and tell them your story. She's deportable.
