I heard Geraldo tonight on Fox.
It was just utterly amazing what he was spewing. He clearly does not care about the security of our nation, the Constitution, federal law or what a vast majority of Americans think on this subject.
He said something extremely idiotic. He stated that illegal aliens commit crimes at a rate lower than the general population. How can this be when 100% of illegal aliens have committed a crime by definition?
Words do mean something and his words are simply idiotic on this subject.

yes. i use to really respect him. i watched his show. he was on a few minutes ago with o'reilly. an Asian reporter told his assz off, said he was using the race card. he's an American, he is defending illegals.

I just watched Geraldo Rivera on the news with an asian looking girl. She has it right. Geraldo is true to his name and anti-USA. He is for open borders and buys into the lies about illegal aliens paying their way. We don't need another immigration bill that won't be enforced. We need enforcement of the laws already on the books. We have laws that allow our borders to be closed and the employers and others who hire, harbor and help illegals to be punished. Let's get serious about enforcing the laws. We wouldn't have the problem we have today if the 1986 and 1996 Immigration reform laws had been enforced.
Actually what he said about illegals and crime commiting rate is true. Too many people do not want to believe it but it is ture. Forget this BS about how they broke the law to get in here first of 30 percent are here because they have over stayed Visas, second there are too many to just throw them all back so we need some sort of reasoned approach to deal with illegals. Also Geraldo is a Puerto Rican so he is a US Citizen not a mexican like some of the dopes on here try to insinuate. Please for all these people who are against the Immigration bill tell me what you want to do. All you keep on saying is I want to protect my borders well this bill adresses it. Unlike you dopes some people understand how to deal with issues and want to actually see results not just sit around and spew rhetoric to satisfy your already lowly selves.
Geraldo is struggling to be relevant. He is probably looking for a spot on the Spanish speaking networks because Americans don't want to listen to him. His career has been going downhill for a long time.
If brains were dynamite, Geraldo wouldn't have enough to blow his nose.

I just read the posts above (I would not intentionally watch Geraldo for anything and missed the show.) It is NOT true that illegals commit crimes less than the general population. There have been studies done on this and the opposite is true. Small wonder since the border patrol says one out of ten people they catch crossing the border already has a criminal record. People have many reasons for coming illegally and criminals have been jumping the border since before Jesse James went in the other direction.
