Currently, how many americans live in Mexico ?
Answer:
Quite right. I lived in San Miguel de Allende for 10 years. I was one of many, many undocumented Americans living in that town alone. The 2 million figure is probably pretty accurate.
That number is growing by leaps and bounds as the baby boomers retire and find that they cannot live in much comfort back home. In seconds on the internet you can find massive numbers of new "retirement communities" being thrown up all over Latin America.
And what does the Mexican government do to those who migrate illegally into there country?
I heard they shot them and put them in a shallow grave. That is if you are lucky. The unlucky ones go to a Mexican prison and if half of what I have heard about those places is true the ones who get shot got off light.
Well Mexico is in North America..so all of them
OMG.. where did you come up with that?? 2 million? Are they all running from something in the U.S.?
Why...
That is too funny.
and what is the purpose of this question? are you trying to threaten us? well big boy, there are more illegal mexicans in America. i hope to god govt officials are on here and see how you people are making terrorist threats against Americans.
a lot of Americans live in the beach towns of Mexico , they tear down the Mexicans villages and build 7 room castles because over there our money is like 5 times more .. so we Americans are just taken over Mexico like we did America in the beginning . vote yes for immigration reform
!
We will take our 2 mil. back if you take your 20mil + back.Deal?
1.5 millions
several million. Mexico is part of North America. Central America starts just south of Mexico. Thus everyone living in Mexico is an american.
Around 1.7 Million.
It's hard to answer exactly because there are so many US citizens living illegally in Mexico who never get counted by the government. They enter legally on a tourist visa then either overstay it or return to the border every six months for a new one--even tho' that is not strictly legal.
The number 1.7 million is probably pretty close. The largest concentration lives in Mexico City with Guadalajara running second. Other areas with large US populations are the beach towns of Baja and the Sea of Cortes, like San Carlos, Rocky Point, and Kino Bay and the inland colonial cities like Guanajuato, Morelia and San Miguel de Allende. In many of these town, there are thousands of US citizens who make little or no attempt to learn Spanish or assimilate into the culture. They just bring their US ways, money and attitudes and try to recreate a little piece of the US in the sunshine.
