I lived in the U.S all my life but was born in mexico Iam resident for 2 yrs can i become a citizen within 1yr
Answer:
You have to get a legal residence card, first. Do you have it? After having legal residency you have to wait 5 years to apply. The law is 5 years. When you have 5 years, you can apply for citizenship!
You sound like you are telling us that you are an illega.! if you are, better turn yourself in before someone does.
When they catch you they probably won't accept you because you stayed here without turning it in to immigration, and send you back home.
You will have to apply, unfortunately you do not become citizen automatically with time, are your parents legal US citizen?
we got you was born in Mexico... but you been living in USA all your life... but you been a resident for 2 years?
Yeah you live in the U.S. all your life..were you born here?
Are you only 2 years old? You say you have been a resident for 2 years but have lived here all your life?
Please explain..do you have a green card? If you were born in the U.S. aren't you already a citizen?
If you show proof that you been in here for so long I don't see a problem, now you know become a citizen has it's own law, you just got your green card ask a lawyer, cause I think the time of wait has to be 5 years.
