If I'm an International student studying in the US, when can I get my US citizenship?

Are there special conditions? Thanks.

Answer:
the requirements have changed.. look under this site:
http://www.uscitizenship.info/?ad=overtu...

this will tell you everything you need to know. if you have any questions, best bet is to ask one of their representatives.
I commend you for making an attempt to be a citizen of the greatest nation in the world...

Now, I know about 20 million people I would like for you to "talk to".
Nobody excepts people born in the US directly become citizen.

A better question would be How can I become Lawful Permanent Resident of the US.

Once you have been a LPR for 3-5 years-depending upon how you got LPR status, you can apply for citizenship and if you meet the requirements, become a US Citizen.

You can become LPR by:

Marriage to US citizen or another LPR.
Sponsorship by Employer.
Lottery. 50,000 numbers issued to selective countries.
Investment visa.
