What are the chance of a immigrant getting deported if married to a u.s citizen?
Answer:
depends if you are legal or illegal and what circumstances
The same as the rest of the illegals! If you are illegal, it's time to leave! Here soon, you will not be able to get a job, so go home and become legal first!
slim to none...assuming u are legal...there is almost no way for an immigrant to get deported if married to a u.s. citizen as long as they abide by the laws
No chance of being deported. Once married to a U.S. citizen, that person becomes a U.S. citizen.
The chances of an immigrant being deported varies on the situation. For example, if an immigrant marries a U.S. citizen and has lived in America prior to getting married, chances are VERY high to being deported. If a U.S. citizen goes out of the country, comes back married, chances are LOW/none that the immigrant will be deported. The key is to get married outside of the country, return to the States claiming to be married, petition for the spouse, then, eventually bring him/her into the states. An illegal immigrant should NOT wed in this country. Immigration is tricky so be aware. And if someone is not supposed to be in this country, please enter this country legally and rightfully.
very high chance of getting deported if u are here illegally and entered w/o permission! If u didnt enter legally then u have no options u will b deported its just a matter of time. But if u r deported u can apply for residency from ur country of origin and get legal w/in 8-12 months. Good luck!
If u came here w/a visa or permission u can stay w/o deportation! Get a lawyer & Good luck again!
If your are undocumented being married to an American Citizen is no protection from deportation!
maybe you can talk to am immigration lawyer?
If illegally in this country, or a proven criminal, I should hope that deportation would be the thing that would be done.
