Answer:
Some people have answered that the mothr and kids should return with the father. They have obviously not understood the meaning of "recognised as a refugee" - it means that the Home Office have accepted that she would be at real risk of torture or death if she went back to her country.

The "correct" procedure, as Frisky says, is for the father to return and for him then to apply to come as her spouse. The difficulty with that is that there is no guarantee that his application to come here would be accepted; normally, it would only be accepted if his wife could show she could support him (unlikely as a single mother!). A more rational and humane approach would be to allow him to stay and to work to support his family and himself.

Forget about Cherie Blair, but look for a solicitor to take the case on. You might think about contacting a group that campaigns against deportations: http://www.ncadc.org.uk/

You might also contact your MP. On the face of it, there might be a winnable case here for the Home Secretary to use discretion to allow him to stay. This would especially apply if there is no realistic prospect of him being returned, eg if he is from Somalia, Palestine, Arab Iraq, etc.

It is likely to be a long struggle; it will be vital that the family remain united, and avoid any criminality, however minor. A family under such pressure will need all the support they can get. The father might consider doing voluntary work to maintain his sanity and self-respect, it will also help him when he wins his case and is allowed to work.

Cases like this can win. Read some of the success stories on the NCADC website. Good luck.
Has she not left a forwarding address?
She used to go to a gym round the back of the Euston Road where Triton Square used to be!
Next to the Goat in Boots pub!
She would drive into the underground car park in a Rover 216 with a bodygaurd or a Ford Focus on her own!
The MI5 will be round my house in a minit!
You have to instruct a solicitor first. The solicitor will then contact her Chambers to see if she will take your case. The real difficulty in the UK is finding a decent immigration lawyer. Unfortunately, a lot of lawyers jumped on the "immigration" bandwagon as a way of making easy money. The Legal Services Commission tried to stop this by placing certain limits on what a lawyer could do under legal aid. Unfortunately, these conditions were so onerous that they drove many legitimate firms from that area of law as well as the charlatans.
The father can leave and go and get proper entry clearance to return. This is an entirely proper decision by the Home Office. Cherie won't be interested unless you happen to be a mutli-millionarie, a publisher or a grubby Australian con-man.
There is a Royal Mail forwarding system, so if you still wrote to her at: 10 Downing Street, London, SW1A 2AA, it would then be forwarded to her new address. all the best ..<GB>
Cheri is a high court judge and she would have to rule along with the lands laws- and this country laws are final- he will be deported even at the hands of Cheri Blair - he should take his wife and children and go home and support them. Cheri no longer has to be caring or diplomatic now her hubby is not prime minister. The UK has toughened up on illegal assylum seekers and not before time too.
