What about all the great things the illegals contributed here??
I don't ever hear of ppl who refuse to do business with illegals, who refuse to buy the houses they built for us? or shop at our stores? or those who help other ppl hear such as helping an elderly person?
Why don't ppl appriecate the good in these ppl?

If we wanted more we could have changed our laws, but on balance the overcrowding of schools and draining education and health care funds we need for our own people outweighs the benefit. Without illegal immigration we could legally bring in specifically those we want and NOT bring in those we don't want or need. That is how immigration is supposed to work. WE choose who can come, because we pay for the services, and need to use them ourselves.
And when people know who is illegal, a whole lot of us don't do business with them.
It isn't the specific individual, it is the huge number of them, their poverty that means they take more in education costs and services than they could ever pay in taxes, and the burden of having to carry their poverty as well as those we actually have responsibility for.
Their children are NOT more important than ours.
