yes she can get a passport. If she has cleared/served time on her felony she can travel if not, she'll get caught at the border!!!!!
question, why would she falsify such a crime to the police...domestic violence is no falsyfying matter
Not with the felony on her record. Canada will not allow her in, and a return to the U.S. could prove difficult at best.
k two things she can get one aslong as the biz has been taken care of ie fines, warrants, jail time.
but she will not be allowed to get into canada. she may be able to expunge the record. contact the courts and ask them or your state equivelent of the FBI or the local polic dept.

i live in both nations and have an ex who cannot go there as he owes child support. unpaid support can deny you entrance or a passport as well and if you can get it you could be arrested coming back in.
If you have a criminal record, ANY country (including your own home nation) has the right to deny you entry.
If the record is for a misdemeanor (i.e. NOT a felony), the chances of being rejected are slim in most cases, particularly your home country. But they still have that option...
If the record is for a felony, though, the chances of being rejected are MUCH higher (above 80 percent, in most instances). Even if you are allowed to enter the country you intend to visit, your terms of stay may be severely limited and/or you face the possibility of not being able to return to your home nation.
Having the criminal record (either felony or misdemeanor) does not appreciably affect the chances of obtaining a passport. What it really means is that you probably can't travel anywhere that REQUIRES a passport!
