Pathetic. I wonder how soon the little girl will be arrested and thrown into jail with Ramos and Compean. If it doesn't seem to be illegal to enter our country, why should it be illegal to break into someone's house?

I seriously doubt the media is going to play up an article about guns that has anything positive. This little girl probably saved her own life as well as saved herself from being raped. This was done by the use of a gun. That doesn't bode well for the anti-gun crowd.
What if guns had been outlawed. The headline would have been different and this family would be in mourning.

This is exactly why I'm against immigration reform. Most of these people come over the boarder illegally and if they'll break the law to get over here then they'll break the law for things like food, money and transportation. I forget what the statistics are but a good percentage of these people that come over here illegally from Latin America are or have some relations to gangmembers. We need to deal with domestic issues here in this country before we start letting these people come over here.

My dad was riding his Motor Cycle when a drunk driver who was being chased by the CHP roared by him. Went to the bottom of the hill flipped a U-ey and proceeded to bounce off the cars in front of him in an attempt to cause an accident that would halt the chase. He came right back to my dad and ran him off the overpass and down the embankment.
He was taken into custody shortly thereafter. Later we found out that he was an Illegal Alien who had a history of DWI arrests in California.
Not to be mean in the slightest, but how can anyone expect anyone to respect the laws of a Country when they ignore the initial one to begin with? Did you know that it is not a criminal offense to be an Illegal Alien?

How about if an illegal alien would save your life or a loved ones? Maybe that too can be avoided if America wouldn't let them in. Don't judge the illegal aliens because of their status. Many more Americans commit crimes everyday. Crimes are commited everyday by people of every color, race and immigration status.

As a budding commentator, you should do yourself a favor and research crime statistics related to the proportion of crime by illegals out of all crimes committed. Categorize misdemeanors v. felonies. Categorize violent v. other. Categorize weapon vs. no weapon.
Otherwise, all you have is a yee-haw story about (white, blonde, blue-eyed) heartland grit in the face of (brown, Spanish-speaking, foreign-born) dangerous intrusion.
Now imagine if this young women didn't have a gun.
