How do you feel about the North American Union Replacing the USA?

How do I feel? I feel outrage that any of our nation's elected officials would even contemplate a NAU.
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
I believe in those words and I do not want them changed to reflect any NAU. In 1787, Samuel Bryan wrote a series of letters, the Centinel letters, in which he warned the common working people were in danger of being subjugated to the will of an all-powerful authority remote and inaccessible to the people. It was this kind of authority, he believed, that Americans had fought a war against only a few years earlier.
Bryan was echoing the fear of many anti-Federalists that the new government would become one controlled by the wealthy established families.
I would hate to believe the Bush family has risen to the level it would require to virtually destroy our sovereignty with a NAU.
It would happen over many opposing Americans dead bodies.

I kind of like the idea. Then if we go to war we will have a huge army. It will also, promote unity between our countries.

seriously, i don't even get the magic leap between an international effort for security and "replacing" national sovereignty.
nor do i understand the gigantic leap from international security to illegal immigration.
As a VET, what comes to mind is "LOCK and LOAD!"
I don't mind aligning ourselves with the two largest oil producing companies, but I do not want open borders. I want our country to keep her sovereignty.

Not going to happen. It's going to be chaos.
The number of welfare recipients would break our system and as part of this "union" it would be legal. I'm referring to the illegals who are currently receiving free education, and medical care at the taxpayers expense. It almost pays to be an illegal rather than a legal US citizen since I have to pay school taxes and health insurance.
